All Trip Moments about Minamisanriku
A ryokan with a wonderful view of the ocean from the bath
I went on a trip to support the trip.
The sea was really beautiful.
The next morning, I enjoyed Minami Sanriku by adding the Storytelling Bus and Sightseeing Boat options.
The Storytelling Bus was a little heavy, but I could feel Minami Sanriku starting to recover.
The sightseeing boat was packed with so much that I wondered if it was really all for 1200 yen. It was fun giving Kappa Ebisen to the sea lions lol

[Michinoku Sea Breeze Trail] Trekking
The Tatsukayama Gyoja no Michi in Minamisanriku Town is a trekking course on the Michinoku Sea Breeze Trail. It is famous for the azaleas that bloom from mid-May. There are chainsaw art such as moai statues to guide you along the way. There are two small waterfalls. You can also cross rivers using stepping stones. This is a course for beginners. It looks like it would be nice to come here in the season of fresh greenery.

Sanriku Fukko National Park [Kamiwarizaki Campsite]
I sleep listening to the sound of the waves.
There are no lights, so it's too dark at night to walk, so it's scary.
But the sky is full of stars.
The campsite has a large area, so you don't have to worry about other people's noise.
There are free hot showers, and you can also use the nearby day spa.
You can get food at the shopping district or supermarket.
I also enjoyed walking around the scenic spots.
It's a great campsite!

If you want to experience an open-air bath, come here
Hotel Kanyo is located in Minami Sanrikura.
It's a little unfamiliar to us.
Hotel Kanyo is a 3-star hotel, but I think it's more than that. The decisive reason is the bath. The bath is really big. There's even a path that goes down to the basement.
There are only 2 open-air baths, but it's enough to feel the open-air bath.
When I went to the open-air bath in the morning, I could see fishermen catching sea urchins in the sea right in front of me.

Aerial Photography of Minamisanriku|Summer Mutsu Thousand Miles Journey [Part 4]
I didn’t expect to start a new day with such a wonderful morning. My mood is even brighter than the morning glow.
Minamisanriku Town is located on the eastern coast of Miyagi Prefecture. It faces the sea on one side and is surrounded by mountains on three sides. It was one of the hardest-hit areas in the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011. In this disaster, the devastating impact of the tsunami was far greater than that of the earthquake. Looking at the colorful morning glow and the busy fishing boats before my eyes, it is hard for me to imagine the trauma and suffering that this place has experienced. Fortunately, all this has become history. The people here are sincere, kind and brave, and they live hard with expectations and hopes for the future.
