You can either stay a night and absorb the warm local vibes or just one day visit should be fine. It's known as the sea of Kyoto, here first, I highly recommend you to take boat tour called Ine Bay Sightseeing Boat located in Ine, Yoza District which you can easly find it on Google Maps. To get to this tour centre, you need to take bus from train station for around an hour trip and enjoy the excitement with those seagulls once you inside the boat. One experience that you might not will have in anywhere else is feeding the seagulls during the boat trip. It's quite a thrill! Whether you are on yourself-guided or with another travel tour, Amanohashidate is worth visiting you will never regret.
