Newcastle city break
Newcastle is a lovely city to visit. Although some of my friends say it’s not much to do there, I still want to explore by myself. The hotel I stayed in was Easy hotel. It was affordable and the staffs were helpful. I would recommend solo travellers who don’t want to stay in a hostel can stay in there. The attractions over there are The Cathedral Church of St. Nicholas, Central Arcade, and Grainger Market.
Unforgettable places in Newcastle🤔
To do list!
1. Quayside
2.Newcastle 🏰
3.The tyne bridge 🌉
4.Grey street
5.Theatre royal
6.Cathedral
7.The great north museum
8.Victoria tunnel
Although it is a relatively small city, it has a developed city centre with various shopping centres, cultural activities and historical buildings. The houses in the city are built with Victorian style (2-3 storey detached houses built with red bricks) architecture.
The city is located on the River Tyne's, and the most populous city of North East England.
Hope you like this city as much as I like!

The many Bridges of Newcastle
Who knew there are so many bridges in Newcastle?! Managed to find the one souvenir shop in the whole city haha. Fat Hippo burger place was insane - never had a burger so good - 5⭐️ rating, will definitely be going back there! One of the very few dog cafes in the UK is situated right in the centre of Newcastle. Loved going for coffee there! It definitely has inspired me to get a puppy after cuddling and playing with the many dogs that they have there. In the art gallery that we visited in Gateshead, i was shocked to see how much variety was on offer with the art. Some exhibits were extremely emotional while others more playful making the collection rather rounded as a whole.
So many museums and art galleries on offer - i hope to go back one day and visit the Sage for a concert.

Morning walk in Newcastle ☁️
One day in Newcastle , no time to waste while the rest of the world was asleep so i decided to explore a little the surroundings, going "underground" , passing through each bridge from the unseen part 😅
The images might not be perfect but they show the reality just as i had the pleasure to experience it : quiet cloudy windy morning with lots of perspectives and great spots to explore all arround ☺️
After this morning walk i almost forgot the first purpose of my early walk to the city and i was not affected by the fact that i couldn't find any coffee shop opened at that hour so i went back to my plans for the day with all the good energies on 😁
Newcastle upon Tyne is an interesting place to visit. It is located in Northeast England and is a University town. The classic architecture is stunning, especially lite up at night. If your in the area it is worth a visit. #merrychristmas

Warkworth Castle is about 50 kilometers on the outskirts of Newcastle. The remains of English Heritage are now well protected. Although the castle has been ruined a lot, it still feels spectacular. At the ticket office, I asked the person in charge: There are probably as many silly questions about the castle in the UK, and I was told that there are thousands of them... On the other side of the Warkworth Castle, there is a hidden attraction that is not open daily and can only be reached by boat. The ruins of this stone are full of stories. I don't know if you have been to Turkey. It is a bit like a cave church over there. The pile of stones outside the church is said to be a kitchen. The town of Warkworth can be seen from Warkworth Castal. The town has a very long history, dating back to 737 AD. It is now a tourist attraction. This scene, watching it looks like Junlin City... The story of Warkworth Castle is very long. The process is exactly the same as the history of the regime of the ancient dynasty in China. This castle has also experienced several guns and rains, witnessing a The rise and fall of a royal family and the changes of the times. Compared with other castles, this castle seems to be relatively deserted. There are not many records that can be found on the Internet. However, this kind of historical monument that has been experienced and stands proudly has spread this kind of temperament with the passage of time.

NORTH SHORE COFFEE
Toby first opened North Shore around 10
years ago, after returning from living in New Zealand, where
he first started his coffee journey.
"If I'm honest the journey was long and tough, I was really young and had absolutely no idea what I was doing or how to run a business, it was very off the cuff and the definition of winging it! Then covid came along, and the alarm bells really started ringing."
Fast forward, and after scouring the North East for the
perfect spot, a pitch near the city centre presented itself, a
few phone calls later Toby was granted permission for
licensing. The business was catapulted back to life, and a
year or so on the first bricks-and-mortar store opened in the
Grainger Market, since they've opened another two sites,
with a small fleet of coffee vans..."There is endless things
you can do when you are on wheels!".
"We have an awesome community of customers here in
Newcastle! Anyone who operates a coffee shop will
understand that regulars are the backbone of your
business. What's also really nice is we often have
customers who visit us both at Neighbourhood and
Grainger, depending on whether they're at home or popping
into town, so it kind of feels like we are part of one larger
community between both of the shops."
North Shore have exciting plans in the works... so stay
tuned

#100WaysOfTravel Newcastle is a city of bridges, with seven of the region’s most famous, including the iconic Tyne bridge crossing the river. The landmark Tyne Bridge is the most famous of Newcastle’s seven bridges. When it opened in 1928 it was the biggest single span bridge in the U.K. The bridge towers were built of Cornish granite and originally designed as warehouses but never used. It is most recognisable for the annual Great North Run when 52,000 runners pass over the bridge accompanied by a display from the RAF Red Arrows aerobatic team.
