One day tour is definitely worth it if you’re planning to drink at the vineyard. About an hour stop at each vineyard with about 2 hours rest stop at the chocolate factory where we had lunch. The lunch spread was great! Went to the puffing Billy train and was truly smooth sailing experience thanks to our tour guide/driver. Do note that there’s a mini charge of AUD $5 per pax, so prepare some cash!

Just got back from the ultimate coastal escape, and trust me – Phillip Island and Mount Dandenong are straight-up dream destinations! Here’s how my trip went down and why you NEED to add these spots to your travel list. 👇 First stop: Phillip Island! 🏝️ This place is pure magic. I kicked things off at the Phillip Island Vietnam Veterans Museum (25 Veterans Dr, Newhaven VIC 3925, open daily 10am-5pm). This museum hits you right in the feels – so many stories and a must-visit for a slice of Aussie history. 🇦🇺 Next up: Seal Rocks & The Nobbies (Ventnor VIC 3922, open 11am-5pm). Literally the best spot for ocean vibes! I strolled the boardwalk, snapped pics of the endless blue, and watched the seal squad chilling on the rocks. That view is 🤯, especially if you’re into wild, windswept scenery. Made time for a stroll along the seaside – salt in the air, wind in my hair, totally living the beach bum life. There are cozy cafes, friendly locals, and so many Insta-worthy backdrops. Now, for some lush forest feels: Mount Dandenong (part of the Dandenong Ranges National Park, open 24/7 – but best to go daytime!). Home to the wildest birdlife – and let me tell you, spotting those birds up close? Iconic! I even caught a glimpse of some crazy-colorful parrots flying free. These stops totally balanced out chill seaside vibes and epic nature. Whether you’re a history lover, a wildlife fan, or just chasing that perfect ocean view, this trip’s got you covered. Phillip Island Chocolate Factory, also known as “Panny’s Amazing World of Chocolate,” is a popular tourist attraction on Phillip Island, Australia. Established by the Panny family, the factory was created to combine chocolate making, entertainment, and education in a fun interactive experience for visitors of all ages. The attraction features impressive chocolate sculptures, interactive games, and demonstrations that showcase the process of making chocolate from cocoa beans to finished products. Visitors can also enjoy handmade chocolates, desserts, and hot drinks at the café, while the gift shop offers a variety of locally made chocolate products and souvenir. As one of Phillip Island’s well-known indoor attractions, the factory provides a fun and family-friendly experience that complements the island’s famous wildlife and coastal tourism. #AUD23perpax #familytravel

#natureexploration This is a true hidden gem on Phillip Island. The red rock formations and caves are incredible, but you can only access them at low tide. If you go during high tide, the caves are flooded and dangerous The walk from the car park takes about 15–20 minutes across the sand (turn left when you hit the beach). It’s a bit of a climb over some rocks to get inside, so wear decent shoes. Highly recommend for photography lovers!

was looking through my travel archives. honestly, my design student brain is still recovering from all the old-world aesthetics in europe. munich’s old town is a whole vibe. but neuschwanstein? it literally looks like a 3d render from a fantasy game. the symmetry and the sheer dramatic energy of that castle is unreal. also, those tiny german towns with half-timbered houses. they look like gingerbread. i half expected a talking animal to walk out. and then oxford. absolute peak dark academia. those stained glass windows in the old colleges... i spent way too long staring at the color palettes. cambridge was cute too, tried punting on the river and immediately realized i have zero core strength. the mathematical bridge is a structural flex though. i don't know, there’s something about walking through buildings that have survived centuries. makes my design studio deadlines feel slightly less dramatic. anyway.
