Ca Mau Cape
CA MAU - BAC LIEU: the end of the country
Ca Mau brought my family an unprecedented feeling of relaxation and comfort when staying at # Homestay Dat Mui Nguyen Hung. The couple and three daughters of the new homestay owner are very enthusiastic, honest, rustic, very close to picking up and taking care of guests... A feeling like coming back to your hometown! A feeling that visitors will not know when coming to professional homestays or hotels.
At first, I thought it would be very boring to come to this "remote" place, but when staying, I realized that 2 days and 1 night here is not enough.
From Can Tho City to Bac Lieu: visit the house of Bac Lieu's son, Nam Hai Mother and the wind power field. Lunch at the roadside chicken rice restaurant in Ward 2, Ca Mau City is so delicious and so cheap.
Continue to Cape at 4pm, wander around a bit to check in the coordinates, the homestay picks you up by taxi. After a long journey, there is nothing better than lying in a hammock, the cool breeze, watching the mangrove forest swaying in the wind. After dinner with Ca Mau specialties, the program to catch crabs in the mangrove forest at night begins, so exciting!
The evening is cool, the sky is full of stars and moon, drinking soaked fruit wine, sipping seafood just caught, listening to the old folk music 🙂 🙂
It was very tiring late at night, but because the wooden floor was a bit rickety, the sound of footsteps was very noisy, making it difficult to sleep 😞 (everyone please bear with it :D).
Waking up at 5am in the fresh air, full of fresh oxygen, it was really pleasant. The weather is cool, go to Mui, the last point on the map of Vietnam, in the middle of the vast sea to welcome the sunrise, how romantic (don't miss this section, it's worth giving up a good night's sleep 🙂). Bai Boi at the cape is added 80-100m to the sea every year, if you go when the tide is low, you can wade through the mud to catch clams, snails, crabs...
Walking through the mangrove forest is really cool and poetic, going through the monkey bridge through the forest or wading through the mud of the mangrove forest to catch snails, crabs, and mudskippers is also a wonderful experience.
The kids fished in the saltwater right in the pond near the river mouth, there were a lot of fish biting the hook continuously, making the kids addicted to fishing and not wanting to stop... Time passed quickly, the whole family left with lingering feelings...
There were groups of guests who came to stay for 3-4 days to experience it. This place is only suitable for those who have a farming background or like to experiment with the days of being a "farmer", not afraid of mud and strange creatures kkk...
