There weren't many fish, so it's more of a nice bonus to the tour rather than the main reason to go. 🏝️ Orange Bay The highlight of the tour is a beautiful island featuring crystal-clear turquoise waters and a gentle, shallow slope into the sea. 📸 Photo spots The island is incredibly "Instagrammable": there are tons of gorgeous spots for photos, including wooden structures, the beach, the sea, and vibrant details. 🛏️ Beach relaxation They provide complimentary bean bag loungers where you can comfortably relax right by the water. 🍹 Drinks Food, drinks, and shopping are paid for separately. Prices are pretty steep: a beer is around $7, and cocktails are about $11. 🌅 Sunset on the way back If your tour wraps up towards the evening, the boat ride back can be another stunning part of the trip—you can catch the sunset right out on the open sea. 💙 Is it worth it? Orange Island 🏝️ is an organized sandbar south of Giftun Island in the Red Sea, located a 40-minute yacht ride from Hurghada. A popular location with white sand and shallow waters, known as the "Egyptian Maldives," tourists flock to enjoy the beach and take beautiful photos. We were brought here on a yacht cruise. A couple of hours is enough time to swim and take lots of beautiful photos. There's a bar on the island, and prices are above average. Stopped by while strolling along the wharf after watching workers make bread from dough. They have two separate counters—one for pastries and coffees and the other for sandwiches. Tried several types of pastries, all of which were excellent. The pastries are generously sized. Highly recommend!

So why do I especially love photographing the sea? Maybe it's because I grew up in an inland city with little chance to see the ocean. Maybe it's because I envied the countless times I saw others living by the sea on TV since childhood. Maybe it's because the seasons change, but the scenery by the sea always remains the same. But the winter sea turns into a slightly different feeling from summer. Although the blue hour is exceptionally brief, the evening light, a mix of orange and teal, reflects on the face and blends with the sea surface fully bathed in orange, creating colors unlike the usual. Regarding color grading, it’s a perfect lighting environment to bring out the teal-orange contrast, enhancing some contrast following the film’s colors. But actually, color grading is just about restoring and enhancing the memory and imagination of that scene in my mind. Sometimes, going with the flow is just fine. 📷Sony a9m3 1635gm2

When visiting Orange Beach AL make sure you stop by The Angry Crab Shack! Great food, Amazing staff, and real live Lobsters on display for the kiddos to look at!

March 2023 my daughter sweet 16 birthday getaway...Regency Isle Condos were beautiful. The view at night was breath taking.
