[Hiroshima] A museum with a beautiful view of flowers
It was worth the trip to this wonderful museum that just opened in 2023! It's a little way past Miyajima, so save it as a possible destination for your next trip and use it! 🫶──────────────📌Point─────────────☑︎ Colorful containers Eight movable colorful containers are floating, and inside them is the exhibition room! When you enter the exhibition room, it feels fluffy and like you're on a boat 🚢☑︎ Emile Gallé's garden A cute and cute garden planted with flowers that appear in Gallé's works 💐☑︎ Special exhibitions in the museum When I went, the Yotsuya Simon and Kaneko Kuniyoshi exhibition was being held. From 2023.10.1 to 2024.1.14. ☑︎ There is a hill with a great view called the Observatory Boyo Terrace ★ You can see the containers from the top where you can see the islands! In autumn, the cosmos bloomed on the hill and it was so cute! ☑︎ Exterior and interior Both inside and outside are mirrored and sparkling. Every space designed by architect Shigeru Ban is comfortable! The site is the size of the Tokyo Dome. ☑︎ Restaurant, cafe, and villa cafe serves sandwiches and sweets. I checked the restaurant only for reservation courses, and the villa seems to be around 170,000 yen per night! ☑︎ Access About 40 minutes by car from Hiroshima. It's a little beyond Miyajima! It seems easy to get there from Iwakuni Kintaikyo Airport in Yamaguchi Prefecture. There is a shuttle from Oo Station. ─────────────Simose Art Museum 2-10-50 Harumi, Oichi, Hiroshima 739-0622Shuttle bus available from JR Oichi Station (see website for details)Opening hours9:30-17:00 (entry until 16:30)Closed on Mondays (open on national holidays), New Year's holidays, and changing exhibitionsAdmission feeAdults: 1,800 (1,500) yenCollege students: 900 (800) yenMiddle school students and younger: Free─────────────
