It's the kind of place you'll want to visit in the summer to just take a deep breath and relax. What's more, their collection of works by Impressionist painter Claude Monet is simply breathtaking. The space itself is reminiscent of the Musée de l'Orangerie in Paris. Please note that photography is strictly prohibited inside the museum. We had a great experience visiting the Suntory Yamazaki Whisky Factory. The museum was well-organized and very informative, giving a good look into the history and the displays in the museum were interesting and easy to follow. One of the highlights was the tasting lounge, where we got to taste a few different types of Yamazaki whisky. Don’t forgot to purchase limited Yamazaki Distillery Exclusive Whisky (limit 1 person per bottle). Overall, it’s a must-visit for whisky lovers or anyone interested in Japanese craftsmanship and tradition. I’d definitely recommend it if you’re in the Osaka or Kyoto area!
