This time, I went to Phi Phi Island without joining a group tour. I found an agent myself, bargained, and had an incredibly free and enjoyable experience! For the journey there, I booked a ferry on Taobao for just 95 RMB! The standard cabin had air conditioning and included pick-up service. It took about two hours to reach Tonsai Pier—super convenient! The best part was renting a long-tail boat after arriving! Turn left after exiting the pier, and you'll find boat number 21. The young boatman was very friendly. Initially, it was 2,500 THB for 4 people for 3 hours, but I managed to negotiate it down to 1,600 THB! The boat had soft cushions, making it very comfortable to sit on. However, remember to bring your own anti-fog diving mask, as the boat doesn’t provide one! Near Viking Cave, there were plenty of fish, so bring some bread to feed them—it’s super fun! For the return trip, I casually found an agent along Patong Road and bought tickets for a 4 PM speedboat back to Phuket. I bargained it down to 750 THB per person, and it even included a car ride back to the hotel—such a great deal! The weather was amazing this time, and the sea was so beautiful it seemed to glow. During my recent trip to Thailand, I joined a day trip to Phi Phi Islands from Krabi, and it turned out to be one of the most unforgettable experiences of my travels. A speedboat picked us up around 9:00 AM, and in about 45 minutes, we were gliding past the stunning limestone cliffs and heading straight into paradise. Our first stop was Maya Bay on Phi Phi Leh. Then came Monkey Beach, where we saw wild monkeys lounging and climbing trees along the shore. The guides warned us not to get too close, but it was still fun to watch them from the boat. After that, we headed to Phi Phi Don, the main island. We had a delicious Thai buffet lunch by the beach, with options like fried rice, stir-fried vegetables, and chicken curry. After lunch, we had about an hour to relax on the beach, swim, or explore the small shops around. One of the highlights was hiking up to the Phi Phi Viewpoint. It was a bit of a climb in the heat, but the view of the twin bays and lush island landscape was worth every step. Before heading back, we stopped for some snorkeling near Bamboo Island. The underwater world was alive with colorful fish and coral. I even saw a clownfish hiding in the sea anemone! We returned to Krabi around 5:00 PM, tired but completely happy.

Day 1: Phi Phi Island Tour – A Day Spent on the Blue Sea Early in the morning, I was picked up from the hotel and taken to the pier! After a quick snack and briefing, we boarded a speedboat to officially start the Phi Phi Island tour. Tour Highlights: Maya Bay Famous as the filming location of the movie 'The Beach'! Though the landing was brief, the emerald sea and white sandy beach were stunning. It’s impossible not to take photos. Lo Sama Bay & Pileh Lagoon Admiring the sea views from the boat! The emerald waters and towering cliffs were breathtaking. Swimming was prohibited, but just taking in the scenery was satisfying enough. Snorkeling (Mid-Sea Spot) One of the highlights of the day! Snorkeling in the clear waters, colorful fish came right up close. Even if you can’t swim, wearing a life jacket makes it easy. Monkey Beach There were actual monkeys near the rocks and beach! The restaurant was right by the beach, offering great views! The fruits were especially delicious. By afternoon, we returned to Phuket, checked into the hotel, and headed to Patong Street for dinner.
