I went to Aegibong Observatory and Starbucks, which is a hot topic in Korea, where you can see North Korea clearly with the naked eye! It opened last November, and it was very popular, with people constantly coming in. Because it is located inside a military area, there are several soldiers who have undergone the strictest training in Korea, and the ticket check and other procedures were quite strict. I live in Korea, so I was able to purchase a ticket with my alien registration card, but if you are traveling from Japan, it is probably best to just go without a reservation. When doing so, please fill out your name and contact information, and be sure to bring some form of identification (such as a passport). A bus will take you from the entrance to the Starbucks area. It seems that people with disabilities and pregnant women can go near the area in their own cars. You can't get to Starbucks without crossing the bridge, but it shakes a lot, so if you're not good with bridges, be careful⚠️ My impression after watching the North Korea episode was that it was a city across a river, and I was surprised at how close it was to the naked eye! At the end of December, I went to the Egibong Observatory in Egibong Peace Ecological Park (애기봉평화생태공원) in Gimpo City to see the Starbucks with a view of North Korea, which is a hot topic in South Korea. There is a Starbucks inside this observation deck. There is basically no public transportation, so I took a taxi from downtown Seoul. It took about an hour and a little over, and the fare was 75,000w. When I arrived, I first paid the entrance fee of 3,000w to the Peace Ecological Park, and then got on a bus to take me to a place near the observation deck. It is a new experience to go up to the observatory and look at North Korea through a telescope, but the ecological park is well-constructed and the exhibits are so well-made that if you are interested in the history and future of our country's division, I highly recommend visiting this spot! 9-11 Peace Road Course 4 Gimpo has a well-formed perimeter road centered around the Peace Road, and among them, Peace Road Course 4 is adjacent to the city center. The courses, including trekking, bicycle paths, and yellow dirt paths, are so well-made that they are loved by many local residents, and it is a great course to walk slowly and contemplate without feeling burdened. 12 Hanamjeong A restaurant picked by the manager that is full of customers on weekends and sells out of ingredients in no time! I ate hangover soup, but look at the visual of the bones..! It was really full of sheep and the soup was so deep that I thought it was the real deal🫢 13 Glin Park A Gimpo cafe that made me feel like I was in a botanical garden! The interior was so pretty with plants and camping, and the drinks were so good. Walking the 4th course, eating hangover soup, and having a drink at Glin Park was perfect! 14-17 Peace Trail Course 3 The Peace Trail Course 3 is really the front line course. This area is so far ahead that filming the barbed wire fence is impossible, so on a good day, you can see North Korea beyond. When you walk along the barbed wire fence, you can actually see surveillance cameras following us, and you can see phones and doors used for defection, which made me realize that we are a divided country in a ceasefire. You can meet a lot of migratory birds, and it is a good course to walk quietly and think, so I personally really liked this course. 18-19 DMZ Peace Trail Shelter (Jo-gang Guest House) Jo-gang Guest House is a Peace Trail shelter that is also used as a shelter for travelers walking the Peace Trail! With a reasonable price of 15,000 won per night and clean facilities, it was a great place to stay for a night while walking the Peace Trail. 20 A real local restaurant in Gimpo that the manager came looking for! From side dishes to main menus, the portions are really generous, and the taste is also the best, and the owner's kindness was really great. If you ever come to walk the Peace Trail, you should definitely stop by here❤️ It was the front line that I really wanted to visit again, and with this Gimpo City and Haruchae family tour, I was able to spend a fulfilling and great experience for 1 night and 2 days, and a great time with great people. Even if it wasn't a family tour, the Gimpo DMZ Peace Trail course is a great travel course for walking, contemplation, and healing, so I recommend you visit at least once❤️

From here, you can see North Korea 1.5km away, and on a clear day you can see farming and hear the national broadcast. Although the weather was unfortunate when I visited, I was able to see the villages and fields of North Korea.
