2025 SeaTac Travel Guide: Must-see attractions, popular food, hotels, transportation routes (updated in July)

It was the location and choice of room that sealed the deal for our family of 4. It was an excellent experience with SureStay Best Western SeaTac Airport because of their efficient (no-wait) check-in process, comfortable beds, strong air-conditioning in this summer heat, as well as the free shuttle. 7-11 was just behind the hotel. Cool! Definitely worth it!

📅 Itinerary Just a one day stop over in Seattle to catch a flight home. If you’re thinking what to do if you have one day in Seattle, there’s lots you can actually do! Day1：Arrived in Seattle from Boston in late evening. Checked into DoubleTree Hilton Seatac hotel that provided free shuttle service to/from airport. Day2: Walked to Seatac station to take Green Line 1 to Pioneer Square station. Many attractions are located in the vicinity. 1. Waterfall garden park 2. Pioneer Square 3. Underground city 4. Pier 54 and Aquarium 5. Pikes Place Market 6. Took a bus and walked up to Kerry Park. 7. Weather was good. Decided to walk to Space Needle Centre. Of course there’s bus to get there too. 8. Pacific Science Centre 9. Also visited Chinatown 10. Took a Green line 1 from International District back to Seatac station and walked back to hotel. Day3: Took hotel shuttle bus back to airport to catch a morning flight. 🏨 Accommodation Doubletree Hilton Seatac hotel 📌 Tips for the day: A good pair of walking shoes is a must and maybe bring a light raincoat. #ThailandFlightEvent This is a place where I stayed one night before boarding the Alaska cruise. A 3-star hotel for around 200,000 won per night. Considering the cost of living in the US, it is a good value for money accommodation. The room size was large, which was nice. The twin beds are also quite large. The neighborhood is very clean, and it is nice to see the snowy mountains up close. There are many restaurants, and there are many marts such as Walmart and Traders Joe's. The breakfast is also clean and good. It seems like a good hotel to stay one night before boarding the cruise. I rarely enter the United States from Seattle, but at least the Internet at Seattle Airport is free and convenient? (Some countries have airports that are not so convenient) It’s quite novel that you have to collect your luggage before going through customs or transferring flights! I'm pretty sure that both San Francisco and Los Angeles go through customs first and then pick up the luggage. In fact, this might be the first time I went through customs with all the luggage. The room was spacious and the bathroom was clean. We had a comfortable stay without any issues like water blockages or lack of hot water, which are common in overseas hotels. The free shuttle between the airport and the hotel was also convenient, running every 20 minutes. Please be aware that the shuttle pick-up and drop-off points at the airport may change slightly if there are other shuttles on the way, and you will be ignored if you do not make it clear that you are getting on.

#SeaTac intl’ airport. The airport was clean. There were constantly employees cleaning. I love the aviation hung from the ceiling. A nice touch. There were many murals, didn’t get the pics as I was traveling with child. A little confused with the outside parking, but airport is easy to navigate. TSA was quick. A good place to fly out internationally.

Seattle Airport is very large, and I basically walked around the entire airport during my several visits. It is a must to try your luck at the airport lotto machine. Try your luck while waiting for your flight
