Coordinates to see the tiger lily...Chiang Mai💮💮
Wait another month, it's almost time to hunt for the tiger lily again. Around the end of December to January of each year (the blooming period is uncertain each year, depending on the weather). During this time, everything will turn pink, fluffy, and cute. Today, I would like to recommend a place to visit the tiger lily in Chiang Mai Province, in case anyone is interested. Let's start.
1. Doi Ang Khang Royal Agricultural Station, Fang District
This is considered the only place that has a genuine Japanese cherry tree brought to Ang Khang. The flowers are a deep pink color (look for the trees with white signs) and there are many tiger lily flowers planted along the roadside. It's very beautiful. In addition, Ang Khang has many other gardens to visit, such as plum gardens, rose gardens, and winter flower gardens. No matter which angle you look at, you can take pictures. The weather is very cold.
💴Entrance fee is 50 baht per person.
2. 2000 Tea Plantation, Doi Ang Khang
Two-colored tiger lily, white and pink, with a view of the tea plantation on the terraces and the morning mist, it's perfect. This place is not far from the Ang Khang Royal Agricultural Station. When you come, don't forget to stop by for a cup of tea and enjoy the view. It's so awesome!
💴 No entrance fee
3. Khun Chang Khian High Altitude Agricultural Research and Training Center
Located in Doi Suthep-Pui National Park, the highlight of taking photos here is the tiger lily and hut corner. It is a must-check-in spot for everyone. But the other corners are just as beautiful. Come visit and have a cup of coffee with a great view. Don't forget to visit Chang Khian Village. There are also short tiger lilies here for taking close-up photos. It's a very Japanese-style village.
💴 No entrance fee
🚗 During the festival, driving up by yourself will be difficult because the road is narrow. We recommend renting a local car or a red car. Pick-up point in front of Doi Suthep/in front of Phuping Palace/from the Hmong Doi Pui Village
4. Park Ranger Unit 1 - Pha Dam
A secret location before entering the Hmong Doi Pui Village. Although there are only a few tiger lilies, they are just as beautiful as anywhere else. If you are going to visit the Hmong Doi Pui Village anyway, Don't forget to stop and take a picture.
💴 No admission fee
5. Khun Wang Royal Agricultural Station, Mae Wang District
The highlight is the Tiger Lily Tunnel, a popular spot. There are also white Tiger Lily flowers to see.
💴 No admission fee
In addition, the Khun Wang-Inthanon route also has many other places to see Tiger Lily, such as:
- Khun Wang villagers' gardens, such as Uncle Pao's garden, Pha Sakura, or along the roadside, there are beautiful places to take pictures.
- Lady Slipper Orchid Conservation Center (they bloom earlier than other places)
- Doi Pha Tang, Inthanon
🫣This photo was taken in mid-January 2023.🫣
