Car lovers, you may not wanna miss this! Located in the South Hall of the Parc du Cinquantenaire, which is one of the most beautiful architectural buildings of Belgium. Opened in 1986, this car museum displays up to 250 vehicles from different eras of the past (plus there are temporary exhibitions every 2-3 months). You can find cars like 1978 Chevrolet Corvette, 1965 Ford Mustang, 1911 Opel and many many more! #eurotrip If you are into cars, then you would like Autoworld, the Belgian National Automobile Museum. This museum is located in the southern hall of the Cinquantenaire Park, and displays a large and varied collection of vintage cars. You can see a number of European and American automobiles from the late 19th century to the 1990s. There are over 300 vehicles on permanent display, ranging from cars and trucks to motorcycles. Although I am not that much into cars, I was really impressed of the collection on display and enjoyed the visit. Brussels is a great capital city and definitely worth visiting. It’s a popular destination for young adults and families and offers a range of attractions and activities to suit any age group and personal preferences. The city is perfect for a city break. You can easily visit and see the top attractions in a weekend but if you have the chance, spend a long weekend here. It’s an easy city to fly to with hand luggage only or even go on the Eurostar. #travelanywhere My ex colleague and I came to Brussels Belgium for a holiday when we came to Europe. We were looking for places to visit when we came across Autoworld. It was bascially a musuem of vehicles. Off we went, when we were inside, I was stunned by the sheer amount of vehicles on display. The vehicles on display range from 1800s to 2000s. I spent quite some there admiring the models on display.

As soon as you enter, it's like traveling through time and space, with rows of antique cars right in front of you. The museum has a collection of nearly 400 cars from every era since the invention of the automobile. Starting from the "horse-drawn carriage", the main means of transportation in the period before cars, to the evolution of horse-drawn carriages into the first generation of cars, and then to the 10s, 1920s, 1930s, and various decades... to today's sports cars, Formula One racing cars, motorcycles, and precious luxury cars, there is everything to see, it's a feast for the eyes. Most of the collections come from Europe and the United States. Each antique car is well maintained, and the bright and shining appearance alone will make your eyes sparkle. There are boutiques and mini model car shops at the exit of the museum, and their collections are also amazing.
