Natural scenery
Baiyun Cave is located five kilometers north of Xiachuan Village, Jiangxia District, Wuhan. The composition is unique and colorful. Baiyun Cave is large in scale, with concentrated landscapes, overlapping mountains and charming scenery; the cave is warm in winter and cool in summer, and the spring water is gurgling, full of stone carvings and stalactites. The three characters "Baiyun Cave" engraved on the top of the front entrance were written by Xiong Tingbi, the minister of military affairs in the Ming Dynasty. According to folklore, after the Yellow Crane flew away from the Yellow Crane Tower in the past, it once perched here, and left behind the saying of "White Cloud Yellow Crane", hence the name "Baiyun Cave". Outside the cave, there are ancient pine cliffs, clear streams, and red buildings and green tiles. There are more than 30 landscapes such as stalactites, stone curtains, stone pillars, stalagmites and stone Buddhas in the cave. Mountains, water, pools, "patios", and the scenery is different everywhere. The stalactites resemble stone lotuses, stone drums, stone lions, waterfalls, altars, and stone Buddhas. Under the colorful lights, Baiyun Cave is like a maze of art sculptures.
