[2025 San Agustin Attraction] Travel Guide for Britania Group of Islands (Updated Sep)

It was a wonderful bonding experience with the family. My cousins and I were able to take on the challenge and rode extreme water activities such as Banana Boating, Jet Skiing and this one extreme ride, which I unfortunately forgot the name! lol! It was however a long weekend and San Agustin, Surigao del Sur is filled with lots of tourists and it was hard to find an available boat that will take us on island hopping. We are on the other hand, still lucky to have found one! It was however not so modern or cozy as the other boats and it took us only to 3 Islands and not 4, since according to the boat driver it was windy and naked Island is not good for such weather. We see other boats however going to the said Island. Lol! It turned out that our boat is catering not only us but also other group of Island Hoppers, which made it very busy to tour us as how we have paid it for (2000php, no time limit as agreed but is not followed). I was really amazed with what I saw in Britania! This is probably one of Surigao del Sur's best kept secrets! I enjoyed the moment of serenity that I would probably only have in Mindanao. I am so glad how their community has been preserving the islands and I hope they would still continue to improve their services. Britania is not just meant for beach fans but also for nature lovers like me. Surigao kept on surprising me when I step on to a new location and Britania sure did set the bar high! Visit the White Sands of Britania group of Islands! Surigao as a whole has so much to offer---Barobo group of islands, the Tinuy-an Falls, the enchanted river and so much more to remember and Britania is among the beautiful spot found here! if you want to lavish the island, a whole day island hopping package will do. We rented the whole bangka with 3000php and we have visited the 3 main islands of Britania. we left from the main island around 6 in the morning. We brought food for lunch because we knew that enjoying the white sand will make us go hungry and it is best to eat lunch in the island. There's not much facilities on the island because they want to maintain its natural looks. laying down their white sand, do some indian sit while eating would be a fun cowboy experience.
