[2025 Bangkok Shopping Mall] Travel Guide for Central Department Store @ Central World (Updated May)

Early of September this year I was travelling to Bangkok and visited expo of my childhood cartoons of studio Ghibli. This expo was located on the 8th floor of Central World shopping mall. Entrance fees was 650 THB and plus 3% if you pay for it by your credit card. You also can purchase tickets online with service charges of extra 50 THB. Expo was organised very well and quite interesting. In the morning was not so crowded, and I can enjoy every exposition. #bangkok

📍 Nara Thai Cuisine at CentralWorld, 7th floor If you want to bring foreigners to eat 5-star Thai food This is the first restaurant that comes to mind. Today, I brought my Chinese senior to eat Thai food. The atmosphere in the restaurant is beautiful, with only Chinese tourists. I recommend this branch because even though it is crowded, there are still seats. This time, we ordered #Sour curry 350.- Actually, there should be fried cha-om as well, but it was all gone. Only vegetables were left. I was a little disappointed. I wanted my friends to try it, but overall, it was delicious. #Fried larb 220.- I always order this dish. I like this restaurant's fried larb the most. They give a lot of vegetables. #Som tam set 290.- There is som tam, grilled pork. I personally feel that it is not quite there, but it is suitable for tourists. #Fried squid with salted egg 390.- New menu for this month One of my Chinese friends really likes it, while the other one can't eat it at all. It's perfect for relaxing and enjoying delicious desserts, especially their signature apple pie. The service is excellent, with friendly staff. The price per person ranges from 101-250 baht.
