Yangzhou is great, I'll come again next time

Yangzhou is great, I'll come again next time. Only had one day, chose to drive to Yangzhou. Came in a hurry, chose the Grand Canal Museum. There were many people during the holidays, didn't finish touring it. For those who like shopping, Hall 3 is not to be missed. It really is like a commercial street inside the museum. Overall, it was okay, depends on personal preference. It's hot in summer, but it's still nice to stroll around! In the evening, I visited Dongguan Street and Caiyi Street, bought osmanthus cake and Green Yang Spring tea. Had a simple meal at a place called 'Coarse Tea and Plain Food', had to queue up. Personally, I think it was okay. The lotus root powder balls were very special, it was my first time trying them and they were not bad. The prices were relatively cheap. Yangzhou University yogurt, especially the jasmine flavor, was quite unique. I brought a lot back! Yangzhou is great, I'll come again next time.

After visiting the Yangzhou Ge Garden in the morning, I went to visit the Grand Canal Museum. Admission requires advance reservation, so I didn't enter the museum until after 12:00 p.m. The museum has a total of 13 exhibition halls, and it might take several days to see everything in detail. Therefore, this time I only visited halls 1-3, as well as the Potala Palace cultural relics exhibition that is currently in halls 11-12, which was an eye-opening experience. The museum has a restaurant on the basement level where you can solve the lunch problem. Due to the large number of visitors, you still need to take a number and queue up for dining, which is also rare in museums. It is recommended that one must visit the museum at least once in a lifetime. I saw the Grand Canal Museum in the Southern Airlines magazine and have been longing to visit and see its beauty. It's really super huge; you can stroll around for a whole day. My feet were tired from all the walking. The Grand Canal Museum has moved the entire riverbed over. It displays riverbeds from different periods that have been moved from Henan. It's truly spectacular.

It's quite large, with majestic architecture, and mainly three exhibition halls inside, which are history, boats, and an antique market street. It's very crowded, so you must book in advance (free of charge). Be sure to go early, we left at 10:20 and it was already very, very crowded. It takes about 1-2 hours to walk around and take pictures. 🎈After leaving the museum, take a taxi to Dongguan Street. This street is so-so, full of small shops. Have some snacks here and head straight to Geyuan Garden (located on Dongguan Street) 🎈Geyuan Garden: The ticket is 48 yuan.
