Bangkok Citywalk - around Chulalongkorn University! Great experience
#Bangkok Transportation Guide
My dears, we have to say goodbye to Bangkok in the afternoon. During the day, we have planned a relaxing citywalk and a stroll around Chulalongkorn University. However, for family members who just want to enjoy the air conditioning in the hotel or car, this can be considered a high-intensity training.
Starting from the Pratunam Market, the "Lotus Pond of Bangkok", walk to the "Century Golden Resources" central world, take a look at the popular Four-Faced Buddha across the intersection, then walk west to the BTS "National Stadium" station, check in at the popular skybridge with the word Bangkok, and finally stroll around the campus of Chulalongkorn University.
Chulalongkorn University is known as the "Bangkok Tsinghua University". It was established in 1917 and is the oldest university and the first institution of higher learning in Thailand. The main campus is not very big, the buildings are arranged in an orderly manner, and the large lawn at the entrance looks like a stage for activities. The Thai-style teaching building is very distinctive. Don't miss it if you love to visit the campus.
When we were tired from shopping, we went to the cold drink stand across the street from the Art College to take a break with our classmates. We saw that they all liked to order various red and green smoothies, so we followed suit and ordered four cups. Oh my god, they were so sweet! I quickly bought a bottle of mineral water and filled the cup. As for food, the cowpea and minced meat rice, Tom Yum Goong soup, Indian red curry chicken and naan ordered today were all super successful, and the taste was basically the same as in domestic restaurants.
The average temperature in Bangkok has been around 30 degrees recently. You can sweat while hiking outside during the day, go back to the hotel for a swim in the afternoon, buy a large ice cup to make your own cold drink at any time, and find a lot of street fruits and snacks that look dirty but are safe to eat. This environment is perfect for me! Come again next time!
