[2025 Auckland Stay] Travel Guide for Crowne Plaza Auckland, an IHG Hotel (Updated Apr)

🏨 Crowne Plaza Auckland 📍 128 Albert Street, Auckland, New Zealand I recently stayed at the Crowne Plaza Auckland, located in the heart of the city, and it was incredibly convenient! The Atrium on Elliott shopping center is right downstairs, and almost all the popular spots are within walking distance. 🚶‍♀️ It's particularly close to the Sky Tower, the Civic Theatre, and the Aotea Centre, and there are plenty of places to eat and shop nearby. 🛎️ The reception staff were warm and professional. The hotel boasts a stylish, modern design. Upon arrival, the receptionist greeted us enthusiastically and efficiently checked us in. The hotel is well-equipped with a restaurant, bar, gym, sauna, business center, and 10 meeting rooms of varying sizes to suit a variety of needs. 🏠 Our room had a modern, minimalist style and was comfortable and clean. We stayed in a club room with an incredibly comfortable large bed. The room also had a refrigerator, TV, and other amenities that fully met our daily needs. Plus, the 24-hour club lounge overlooks the beautiful Auckland Harbour and offers complimentary breakfast and snacks. 🚶‍♀️ There's so much to do around the hotel. The Sky Tower is just a few minutes' walk away, and you can also visit nearby attractions like the Bush and Beach Scenic Tours and Aucky Walky Tours. If you're a foodie, be sure to check out restaurants like The Grove, Sails Restaurant, and Cafe Hanoi. Highly recommended! My stay at the Crowne Plaza Auckland was a delightful experience, perfectly blending a convenient location with excellent service, not to mention the incredibly delicious breakfast. I'll definitely choose this hotel again on my next trip to Auckland. 🌟

#2月好地方2025 Although the Crowne Plaza Auckland is not very new, the stay experience is mostly good. It only takes 10 minutes to walk to the cruise terminal. A few thousand dollars is enough to resist it. I have IHG Diamond + Lounge PASS, so I was upgraded to a high-rise room. Although the hotel is relatively old, it still has its advantages. First of all, it has a great location. The city center station is within a 5-10 minute walk. The rooms are spacious and elegant, and the high floors have good views. There are many department stores nearby, making shopping, dining and entertainment quite convenient. There is a gym but no swimming pool. The mattress in the room is thick and comfortable, and the bedding is excellent. There is a large glass desk and a capsule coffee machine. But the white tiles in the bathroom are a bit old-fashioned. Breakfast is in the basement, which is ok if it's free, but not if you have to pay. In comparison, I had happy hour at the 28th floor lounge. Although the food was not very rich, it included fried oysters, shrimp spring rolls, salmon tarts, delicious cheese and frozen meat. There are many kinds of drinks and there are also ladies who make cocktails. The lounge is decorated in an open space, and you can look out at the blue sky and feel the comfort of vacation without leaving home.

Located at the lobby of Crowne Plaza Auckland at Level 4 on Albert Street, this humble but authentic Japanese Restaurant is a must eat in Auckland. It deserves a 10/10 stars for food quality, portion, pricing and service. We ordered the mix tempura udon set and the Hana tempura bowl. The tempura was cooked to perfection and all items were not oily at all. Simply DELICIOUS!!! If you can really eat, we would recommend ordering the Mega Tempura bowl. They also provide free pickles. Highly recommended. We would say this is the best Tempura in Auckland hands down!
