Pujing Temple is a Yuan and Ming dynasty architectural complex that has preserved its original appearance. The temple is spacious and the buildings are magnificent. From south to north, there are the Jade Emperor Hall, Guandi Hall, and Great Buddha Hall.

First built in the Yuan dynasty, it is a double-eave hip-and-gable roof pavilion-style building. During later repairs, a waist eave was added between the upper and lower eaves, making it a triple-eave hip-and-gable roof. It was renovated in the 4th year of the Qianlong reign of the Qing dynasty (1737). The tower is 22.6 meters high, with a brick and wood structure and a cross-shaped hip-and-gable roof. It appears to have three floors but actually has four. The base is a cross-shaped arched passageway. The second and third floors have surrounding railings. The third floor has a shrine with a statue of Guan Gong reading the Spring and Autumn Annals at night. The main tower is flanked by elegantly shaped bell and drum towers.
