On weekends, many people camp, barbecue and sunbathe on the green space of Swan Lake Park, which is very lively 🏕️ - I highly recommend the "Qingya Chinese Restaurant" in the hotel😋 The restaurant environment is first-class and high-end. The food is exquisitely presented and there are authentic Suzhou dishes. Some of the set meals are very cost-effective. Hilton Suzhou Wu Zhong District and Hilton Garden Inn offer a unique lodging experience||It is probably the first combined complex of DoubleTree by Hilton and Hilton Garden Inn in China. Personally, I feel the standard of this DoubleTree is quite high, except for its somewhat remote location in the industrial park. Surprisingly, the occupancy rate was good over the weekend, and as a Diamond member, I wasn't upgraded to a suite, only to an executive room, which was a bit disappointing. However, the breakfast was of high quality, especially the noodle station! There was also unlimited Häagen-Dazs ice cream, and the lounge was nice, with afternoon tea being a set, perfect for taking photos. The swimming pool was great too, as I had it all to myself in the afternoon. The downsides are that you have to go downstairs to pick up takeout, and you can only enjoy the afternoon tea once, maybe because it's a set? Out of 100 points, I give it 80. Now, about the neighboring Hilton Garden Inn, it's not cheap, and the hotel seems to cater more to business groups and tour groups. As a Diamond member, I didn't get an upgrade to a suite but was given a room on the 12th floor with a nice view. The room was comfortable and came with free self-service laundry. Their breakfast deserves praise for having more Chinese options than the DoubleTree next door. Out of 100 points, I give it 78.

The welcome gift in the room was a pleasant surprise. The dessert was a beautiful swan on the sparkling lake. I stayed in a deluxe suite with a living room and a bedroom. The room combines the simplicity of Suzhou with modern minimalism, and the design of the lights is very unique. Through the floor-to-ceiling windows, you can overlook the beautiful scenery of Taihu Lake, which is very refreshing. You can go to the executive lounge on the executive floor, which incorporates Kunqu design elements, contrasts between ancient and modern, and integrates wood and stone. I tasted the Jiangnan Hexagonal Palace afternoon tea, a three-tiered tray with Chinese and Western desserts, which was delicious and pleasing to the eye. A glass of champagne to chill~ The Soup·Hot Pot Restaurant is my favorite restaurant. Each person has a pot with high-quality ingredients such as Matsuba crab, East Star Grouper, abalone, and Wagyu beef. I chose the collagen soup base, which is very nourishing. It's great for dates or gatherings. I love this kind of hot pot that doesn't leave a smell on you after eating.
