I used to think that Kuanzhai Alley and Jinli were nice places for taking photos, but there were too many people. It was a rare day to see the sun when I came to Chengdu, so I went to East Suburb Memory for a stroll. Unexpectedly, I got a pleasant surprise. There are relatively few people here, so any photo I take looks good. Moreover, transportation is convenient now. I live near Kuanzhai Alley and can take the subway directly to East Suburb Memory. It takes about 7 or 8 minutes to walk from Exit B of the subway station. In addition to being great for taking photos, there are also many restaurants here. If you come to Chengdu, remember not to miss this place.

Last week, I had the chance to visit Chengdu, and wow—this city is full of panda culture! Everywhere you turn, there's something cute or cool with a panda on it. Definitely lived up to its reputation. I visited a few popular attractions like the IFS Mall (yep, saw the giant panda climbing the building 🐼), 太古里 (Taikoo Li) which had such a nice mix of modern and traditional vibes, and 东郊记忆 (Eastern Suburb Memory)—a really artsy and nostalgic spot with cool installations and old industrial feels. Of course, I couldn't leave without trying the local steamboat (aka hotpot).
