Vegan-Friendly Gelato Shop Featuring Ingredients from Across Japan Opens in Omotesando, Tokyo
I recently visited "Eriko Osawa Earthly Gelato," a gelato shop that opened in 2025. This shop, originally from Naruko Onsen in Osaki City, Miyagi Prefecture, has gained popularity for its vegetable-based gelato and has now expanded to Tokyo.
The shop is located on the 4th floor of Green Terrace, a newly opened commercial facility in Omotesando with a lush, green exterior. I took the elevator up to the 4th floor, where the shop is situated. The interior is elegantly designed with a white color scheme, exuding a sense of luxury. Luckily, the shop wasn’t crowded, so I enjoyed my gelato inside.
Eriko Osawa Earthly Gelato uses local ingredients and offers a variety of unique flavors, such as:
- Natural Butterbur x Sendai Miso
- Yamagata Organic Mushroom x Café Latte
I opted for the Miyagi Strawberry x Pineapple x Beet x Macadamia flavor. Its refreshing sweetness was perfect for summer, offering a guilt-free indulgence. On sunny days, you can enjoy your gelato on the shop’s terrace or rooftop, making it a relaxing experience.
This is definitely a must-visit new spot in Omotesando!

[Omotesando🇯🇵] Discover new chocolates👀Chocolat Trouver
Chocolat Trouver is a shop that gathers authentic chocolates.
It is a 2-minute walk from the B2 exit of Omotesando Station.
Inside the store, you will find beautiful bonbon chocolates like jewels and seasonal sweets that will make you fall in love with them.
The polite service is unlike other sweet shops.
They will tell you about the charm of each sweet, where it comes from, and help you choose sweets that suit the occasion, so they are perfect as gifts.
One of the attractions is the chocolates that can only be purchased here.
One of the chocolate brands they carry, "centho", is a Belgian brand that was only available in Japan during the Valentine's Day season, but now that this store has opened, you can get it any time.
They also sell ice cream now.
This is a recommended shop for those who want to taste authentic chocolate or are looking for a gift for a special person!

[Experience "zero waste" in the city! KAMIKATZ TAPROOM Tokyo]
#Spring0yentrip
You can find RISE & WIN Brewing Co. KAMIKATZ TAPROOM Tokyo, a craft beer brand from Kamikatsu-cho, Tokushima, in the back alleys of Omotesando. It's not just a beer bar, but a very stylish space filled with "sustainability x design" that will impress you!
Kamikatsu-cho is the only zero-waste town in Japan that aims for "zero waste." This shop brings that idea directly to Tokyo, and the interior is made of recycled materials and antiques that shine brightly. However, it doesn't feel cheap at all, and is rather sophisticated. The lighting, chairs, and even the glasses are all "items with a story," which makes you excited while drinking beer.
The craft beer is delivered directly from a brewery in Kamikatsu. There are about 10 types of taps, from seasonal to standard, and if you're not sure what to choose, just ask the staff! Fruity IPAs, fragrant pale ales, refreshing saisons, and more, each with their own unique characteristics, making the lineup enjoyable even for craft beginners.
The food is also high quality, with appetizers and charcuterie made with Shikoku ingredients, as well as hearty meat dishes, making it a great place for dates, drinking parties, and solo drinking.

[Taking a break in Omotesando. The rag & bone cafe has great taste]
#Spring0yentrip
While shopping, I dropped by this cafe attached to rag & bone in Omotesando. As it is a fashion brand from NY, the sense of space is just outstanding! The wooden tables stand out against the inorganic concrete walls, giving it a calm and open feel like a cafe overseas. The high ceiling and plenty of light make the space feel so comfortable that you will stay for a long time.
The coffee is made with beans from the popular Australian roaster "Little Darling Coffee Roasters". The espresso is strong but has a clean aftertaste, and the quality is sure to satisfy even coffee lovers. What's more, the cups are designed by rag & bone, so they are simple yet stylish and sure to look great in photos!
They also have a small menu of not-too-sweet baked goods and light meals, making it perfect for satisfying your hunger. The quiet and mature atmosphere makes it a perfect cafe for a break between shopping, chatting with friends, or spending time alone.
