I exited Baoguo Temple through the east gate, crossed the square in front of Baoguo Temple, walked along the red wall, crossed Fuhu Road at Laifeng Pavilion, and started my mountain climbing journey from the ancient tree. This road is the first choice for hiking Emeishan. The whole road is paved with stone slabs, with some low steps, making it easy to walk. The sound of the Huxi River, birds, and cicadas, the fragrance of flowers and plants, and the sight of flowers and leaves I had never seen before made the 1.5 km journey feel like a fairy tale world. Along the way, there are attractions such as Huxi Listening Spring, Huxi Three Bridges, and Nanmu Ancient Trees.
