Hydrangea Blooms at Gaojia, Wanli

💰 Average Spending: NT$200, which can be used to offset NT$100 for purchases within the garden
🕰️ Opening Hours: 5:00 AM – 6:00 PM
💞 Recommended Reason: A once-a-year floral feast you shouldn't miss
🗓️ Itinerary Suggestion: Start with some seafood at Wanli Beach and then head to Gaojia Hydrangea Garden, or reverse the order—both options are great.
On a whim, I decided to drive with friends to see the long-missed hydrangeas. Ever since my brakes failed on Yangmingshan, I've been hesitant to drive on mountain roads. I thought Wanli would have flatter roads, but to my surprise, there was still a short stretch of mountain road. Thankfully, I managed to overcome the transportation challenge this time. Yangmingshan's hydrangea fields are stunning, and the prices there are lower, with similar discounts on minimum spending. Sometimes, you can even enjoy mountain mist, calla lily fields, and delicious mountain cuisine.
The flower fields here are equally beautiful, with rich decorations and landscapes. The most captivating feature is the expansive flower wall—it’s truly perfect. Compared to artificial flower walls indoors, this natural display is breathtaking. I hope everyone gets a chance to witness such a magnificent scene.
