🇹🇷Denizli This place has been promoted so well around the world that even ladies asked to go there. 🇹🇷It has attracted many people in Turkey🤩, so Pamukkale is a must-visit🏞, but don't have too high expectations. It's not as good as Hierapolis and the museum that comes later. Depart from Pamukkale in the early morning and step barefoot on the snow-white calcified terraces. The hot spring water temperature is constant at 36-38℃, and the stepped pools are very cool💂. A 10-minute walk north will take you to the ruins of the ancient city of Hierapolis, a Roman health resort from the 2nd century BC that retains an ancient theater that could accommodate 10,000 people and the remaining mosaic tiles of the Roman baths. You can still swim in the Cleopatra Pool on the edge of the ruins. The ancient Roman stone columns scattered at the bottom of the pool are looming in the hot springs, as if they were dislocated in time and space. In the afternoon, drive to the Laodicea archaeological site and stroll through the ruins of one of the seven churches in the Bible. The giant stone water supply system confirms the prosperity of this ancient trade center. 🇹🇷Ephesus: The collision of mythology and technology The next day, we went to the Ephesus Experience Museum in Selcuk. The 2,400-square-meter immersive space recreated the ancient city's heyday with 360-degree projection: 3D sound effects reproduced the sound of horse hooves on Arcadia Avenue, mist installations simulated the Aegean Sea breeze, and a life-size statue of Artemis "resurrected" in light and shadow. Then we visited the Ephesus Archaeological Museum. The museum's treasure - the 6th century BC statue of Artemis is plump and majestic, and the griffins and bees carved on its multi-layered skirt symbolize the fusion of nature and power. Walking through the Via Curetes at the ruins of Ephesus at dusk, the reliefs of the Temple of Hadrian were clearer after the rain, and the statue of the goddess of wisdom at the Library of Celsus was gilded in the sunset. This area belongs to Denizli, about 15 minutes drive from Pamukkale. Although a little away from the tourist area, the location is quite convenient. There is a market outside the B&B, and the cost of living is relatively cheap. Our accommodation gave us a view of the hot spring foot bath. On the first night we opted for a simple dinner of roast chicken with bread and enjoyed a picnic in the hot spring area. For lunch the next day, we visited Sultan Restaurant based on a recommendation from a local. I had the lamb chops, which were quite good. However, compared to previous dining experiences, this restaurant seemed a bit monotonous and lacked the rich side dishes found in traditional Turkish restaurants. 😆 Türkiye 🇹🇷 Pamukkale Accommodations and Dining Recommendations In Pamukkale, consider an overnight stay. Many nearby lodgings offer hot springs in the rooms. This area is Denizli, a 15-minute drive from Pamukkale. Despite not being in the tourist hub, it's convenient. Outside, there's a local market with affordable living costs. Our lodging overlooks a hot spring foot pool. For dinner, we had roasted chicken and bread, picnicking in the hot spring area. Following a local suggestion, we lunched at Sultan's Restaurant the next day. I had lamb chops, tasty but simpler compared to traditional Turkish places. 😆

One of the must-see attractions in Turkey, Pamnkale Pamukkale! Pamukkale is actually calcified limestone, hard and not as soft as its name, cotton! It hurts when walking barefoot! ! ! The soles of my feet are red after walking! The whole journey is like walking on Shichun Road! There are three entrances to the Pamukkale Scenic Area, the North Gate, the Middle Gate and the South Gate, with the South Gate being the nearest village and hotel complex. And the south gate opens at the earliest, opening at 06:30AM, this time to enter Pamukkale, the least crowded! It will take pictures of no one! And I chose to get up early and enter from the south gate to avoid the crowds! If there is a south gate to enter, you will first go through some of the ruins stone piles, about 5-8 minutes to the key white lime shed. This area is not too big, walk a little down you will see the view of terraced fields, the landscape is more beautiful! There are also hot air balloons in Pamukkale, so when you walk into the scenic spot you will see a small number of hot air balloons taking off, or flying!
