There is an entrance to the beach from the Marriott Hotel on Jinsha Bay (the beach is a public beach, not a private one of the hotel, but it is not very crowded). However, because the daytime in Shenzhen is too hot and there is no shade on the beach, we dared not go out during the day. We could only enjoy the beach in the evening and morning. The sand at Jinsha Bay is not very fine (rather coarse), but it is very clean, and the coastline is long enough. Due to the steep slope of the coast, the waves are quite high, making it difficult to swim in the sea. But if you like to 'ride the waves,' this place is perfect. My child, Yuwan, especially loves 'fighting with the waves,' getting pushed onto the beach by the waves repeatedly and then walking back into the sea to wait for the big waves...
