🌌 Experience sharing|The moment I stood on Mt. Hakodate, I understood what "the night shakes the soul" means
What is the purpose of traveling? For me, sometimes it is an adventure into the unknown, and sometimes it is to find a moment of eternity. The night view of Mount Hakodate is the kind of thing that will be deeply imprinted in the heart and become the "journey memory coordinates".
That evening, I took the Mount Hakodate cable car, the car slowly climbed, and the city lights outside the window gradually unfolded. In just three minutes, it was like entering another world. When I stepped onto the viewing platform on the top of the mountain, the scene in front of me made me hold my breath - it was as if the Milky Way was pouring on the ground, the city lights were fanning out to the bay, and the lights of the ships were slightly flickering in the distance, as if the stars had also landed on the earth.
I found a place to stand by the railing. The temperature was so low that it made people shiver, but no one left, because this kind of beauty is worth exchanging every bit of body temperature. From the blues moment in the evening to the deepening of the night, the whole scenery became more and more charming - the lights became brighter, the sky became darker and darker, and the feeling of visual and spiritual synchronization was something I had never experienced in other cities.
Some people say that the charm of Hakodate's night view lies in its "completeness and order." It is not simply a brilliant light, but an interlaced arrangement of mountains and sea, city and light, like a painting completed by nature and humans. What I particularly like is its sense of tranquility - there is no noisy music, no pressure of crowding and pushing, everyone stands there quietly, gazing at the sea of light in front of them like a pilgrimage.
Next to the observation deck, I also walked into a cafe, ordered a cup of hot cocoa and sat down, and looked at the night view again through the glass. At this moment, my mood is no longer shocking, but soft and calm. It is rare to have such a moment in travel, which makes you willing to do nothing and just be in a daze, but feel extremely satisfied.
Before leaving the top of the mountain, I looked at the whole city again. I couldn't help thinking: Such scenery is really not inferior to any world-class metropolis. Its beauty is not the scale, but the texture, which is the calmness and poetry unique to Hakodate.
So, if you come to Hakodate and don't see the night view, it is equivalent to not having been here. You don't need to be a master of photography, nor do you need to be able to write poetry. As long as you stand on that platform, you will understand what "the scenery speaks directly" means. That night will tell you: you are in the right place, here is where light and heart meet.
Whether it is a healing trip alone or sharing romance with important people, the night view of Mount Hakodate will be a must-see list at least once in a lifetime. It does not exist for checking in, but to let you remember: the light at night can also be a gentle hug.
