Winter Vacation Trip 3-Bali Singapore (Day 8-9)
Day 8️⃣ 1.29 Bali
Chartered car Bali one-day tour
Ubud Palace, Ubud Market, Ubud Rice Terraces
Although the driver is an English driver, he is very talkative. He talked about the Chinese songs he listened to and Chinese singers and stars, and said that he would definitely come to China one day. It was a pleasant journey~
How can I say Bali, it is a place suitable for only seeing in photos, and a place suitable for only staying in the swimming pool and beach of the resort hotel. When we went out to visit scenic spots by car, my first impression was that the roads were narrow and there were frequent traffic jams. It took more than twice as long to walk a short distance. I was speechless. The second impression was that the roadside buildings were relatively small and shabby, which was very different from the resort. The third impression was that they were relatively friendly to Chinese people. The hotel service staff and drivers were relatively easy to communicate with, even though they all spoke English. Their service attitude was good and enthusiastic. Fourth, there were a lot of people at the tourist attractions. People from all over the world were taking photos at the tourist attractions, regardless of whether they were yellow, white or black, hahahaha 😂
In addition, I forgot my camera at the first hotel in Bali. I didn’t remember it until 2 days later when I was about to fly to Singapore. After communicating with Ctrip (the hotel I booked on Ctrip), I found the camera. This was really unexpected and lucky! (1.30)
Day 9️⃣ 1.30 Bali 🛫 Singapore
It was raining heavily in the morning, and the driver was waiting for us at the hotel entrance at 6:15 (6:30 was agreed). The owner of the chartered car knew that we had a lot of luggage, so he specially arranged a large car. The driver's service attitude was also very good👍 (if you need to charter a car, I can recommend it)
At noon, I went to the market opposite the hotel to eat local snacks, returned to the hotel to rest, and swam for a while in the afternoon. It was a bit cold and windy, so I went back to the room soon.
At night, I ate noodles in the mall opposite the hotel. They were delicious. 😋
It is very convenient to take the subway or bus at the hotel entrance. Take the subway to Merlion Park to see the night view. It's very convenient to take the bus back to the hotel.
You can buy Ezlink, which is common for buses and subways, at the convenience store in the subway station. It costs 10 SGD per ticket, which includes 5 SGD for the subway fare. It cost 1.73 SGD to take 9 subway stations.
You swipe your card when you get on the bus and you also swipe your card when you get off the bus to facilitate payment deductions. When you see the bus you want to take coming, you must wave. You must wave so that the driver knows you want to get on the bus, otherwise he will not stop. To get off the bus, you must press the red exit button! You must swipe your card too! The return bus ride cost 1.68 SGD. Yes, public transportation is cost-effective and much cheaper than taking a taxi.
