It was the place where the national examination took place and the candidate are running for important roles in the emperor. The ancient courtyard and traditional Chinese architecture made it seem like I traveled back in time. The big wooden gate and the Hall of Classics were really impressive. Inside, I explored the quiet courtyards and learned about how students studied here a long time ago. The room now turn into a place where child can learn calligraphy. The ancient trees and stone tablets added a peaceful touch. I felt like I was part of an old story as I walked through the old halls. Guozijian is a living museum, where you can see how people learned and respected knowledge in ancient China.
