Hallasan National Park
#koreatrip
"Hallasan National Park, located in the heart of Jeju Island, offers one of the best hiking experiences in Korea. The hike to the summit of Hallasan, Korea’s highest peak, was challenging but incredibly rewarding. The changing landscapes along the way—from dense forests to volcanic rock formations—kept the trek interesting. The highlight was reaching the crater lake at the top, which looked surreal, especially on a clear day. The air was fresh, and the views over Jeju Island were stunning. The trail was well-maintained, but the weather changed quickly, so I recommend dressing in layers. Even if you’re not up for the full hike, there are shorter trails that offer beautiful views. Hallasan is a must-visit for nature lovers and hikers visiting Jeju. Just be sure to start early, as the park enforces entry cut-off times for safety. This was one of my favorite hikes in Korea!"
