Price 💲: SGD 20 to 30 per person We are always on a hunt for good dim sum 🥟 and was introduced to this newly opened dim sum restaurant in Maxwell. Shou Handmade Dim Sum Restaurant is located in Kada which is a hipster place in Singapore and it really look quite different from the traditional dim sum restaurants that are always busy and crowded. Shou Handmade Dim Sum Restaurant has a more relaxing vibe. The variety of menu is not as extensive as others but got the very classic options such as har gao, Siew Mai and chicken feet. I pretty enjoyed my slow morning here.

Food 🍖: Shou Handmade Dim Sum Restaurant specializes in dim sum that’s categorized into Steamed, Pan Fried / Baked, Mains, and Dessert. We ordered the classic Steamed Siew Mai and shrimp dumpling. I like how meaty the Siew Mai is with flavourful filling. The shrimp dumpling was equally good with the crunchy and fresh prawn inside. Price 💲: about SGD 20 to 30 per person How to get there: Take train to Maxwell MRT and walk about three minutes to KADA, it’s on the first floor.

#holidayitinerary I was introduced to this hidden spot tucked in Kada, it’s just right beside Maxwell Food Centre. We had a pleasant experience dining here. The staff were very friendly and attentive, helped to clear our plates without being intrusive. The atmosphere inviting and the interior design made us felt like back to ancient times! We ordered the classic dim sums including har gao, siu mai, chicken feet and more. It was pretty tasty with the crunchy and fresh prawns inside!
