I visited the famous Hangang Park on a weekday afternoon and was surprised to find it bustling with people, making it feel nothing like a regular weekday. What amazed me the most was that despite it being a workday, the park was lively and filled with people enjoying a rare moment of tranquility. The lawns of Hangang Park were covered with colorful picnic mats, and every corner was occupied by families, groups of friends, and many couples. What left the deepest impression was the sight of people setting up picnic areas with tents, even on a weekday. They brought their own food, savoring classic Korean delights like fried chicken, kimbap, and coffee. It felt as if time had slowed down, allowing everyone to bask in the embrace of nature and enjoy a moment of leisure and relaxation. One couple, in particular, caught my attention and moved me deeply. Sitting together on a small picnic mat, they shared food with smiles, occasionally playing clips of K-dramas on their phone. The boy leaned gently against the girl, who smiled as brightly as a spring flower. The scene was like a classic romantic moment straight out of a K-drama. It felt as if the entire world revolved around them, and watching them, I couldn’t help but feel a touch of romance in the air. As I quietly observed these scenes from the side, I felt a sense of warmth in my heart. Perhaps this is the Korean approach to life—cherishing every moment and finding joy in the smallest of happiness.

To be honest, when I first came to Seoul a few years ago, I thought it was just about shopping, eating beauty fried chicken, and visiting Dongdaemun, but I lost interest after just a walk around. But this time when I visited again, I completely changed my mind! Seoul is a city with endless treasures to discover - we walked 60,000 steps in three days, and we were willing to walk every day because there were amazing discoveries in every district! 1. Shengshui Cave: A paradise for hipsters We spent almost the entire afternoon and evening soaking in the Holy Water Cave. This used to be an old industrial area, but now it is home to hipster coffee shops, perfume workshops, and designer boutiques. Just smelling the scents and looking at the art design in the fragrance store can take up an hour. There are also warehouse-style cafes, each of which is super photogenic and delicious. 2. Myeongdong Comic Street: Surprises around the corner Everyone is familiar with Myeongdong, but have you noticed the street surrounded by comic characters? We walked in accidentally and looked up to see a lot of nostalgic cartoon characters appearing on the walls of the buildings. The whole street was like a living comic museum. We exclaimed as we walked around, and there were Easter eggs in every corner. 3. Han River Park: A perfect afternoon of cherry blossom viewing and relaxation In the bustling city, we found an afternoon to sit in the Han River Park, looking at the blooming cherry blossoms and the sparkling river in the distance, doing nothing and thinking about nothing. The Han River in spring is so beautiful that even time seems to slow down. 4. OLiving Young: A beauty paradise where people go crazy on shopping sprees This store is too dangerous! We recommend that you make sure to leave some space in your suitcase! 5. Aigibong: Few tourists, but the scenery is worth it This time we also made a special trip to Aegibong, a place that few tourists visit. This is one of the best places to view North Korea. We were the only foreigners on the entire hill, so it was very quiet. When I climbed onto the observation deck, the view of North Korea in front of me was both shocking and peaceful. This silent gaze left a deep impression on me. It is recommended for those who want to avoid the crowds and experience a different side. This trip finally made me realize that Seoul is not boring at all, but I had previously viewed it too superficially. The living room has great lighting and the surroundings are very quiet. ✨ The house is fully equipped, making it easy to cook and enjoy life. ✨ There are many food stores and convenience stores near the B&B, which makes travel convenient. You can buy snacks at the convenience store every night. ✨ There is a small balcony outside the living room with a great view. The Ramyun Library boasts a selection of 225 different types of ramen, not just from Korea, but from Japan, Indonesia and Vietnam as well. There are 2 outlets of this in CU in seoul. I had been to the one at Hans River , the other one is located in Hongdae. Eating ramyeon at the Han River in Seoul AND visiting the Ramyun Library is definitely one of the checklist for first timer ;D The night time view by the Han River is stunning! Directions: Take Seoul subway Line 2 to Jamsilsaenae Station. Make a right out of Exit 7, then walk straight for about 300-metres until you reach the T-intersection at the end of the street. Cross through the tunnel to enter Jamsil Hangang Park, then walk all the way down to the river’s edge. Turn left, and walk about 200-metres. You’ll see the CU convenience store on the right hand side, at the bottom of a short flight of outdoor stairs. It’s in the same place as the Jamsil E-land Cruise dock. In the refrigerated section you can find things to add to your ramen like individual packages of green onion, bean sprouts and jalapeños, cheese, sausages and of course raw eggs. There are both soft boiled and hard boiled eggs if you want to go that route, but check the packaging carefully and make sure you know exactly what you’re getting. Once you’ve picked out everything you want, head over to the cash register to pay. The cashier will ask if you are taking the ramen to go or if you’re eating-in. Once you pay, they will give you the bowl to cook your ramen in. Napkins and chopsticks can be found at the individual ramen tables. **Pro Tip: Table space is limited, so you definitely want grab yourself a table before you get started. In Korea it’s pretty common for people to “reserve” a table by leaving their phone, purse, etc. on the table while they order but maybe you can put your umbrella or tissue paper( i dont recommend your phone or purse for sure)

#wheretogo I had the opportunity to explore Seoul on a bicycle along the Hangang River Cycling Path (한강 자전거길) on a cold autumn day. The Hangang River Bicycle Path is a picturesque cycling route along the Han River in Seoul, South Korea. Stretching for approximately 55km, this scenic trail winds through Seoul and its surrounding areas, offering a blend of urban and natural landscapes. I was able to enjoy stunning views of the river, lush parks, and iconic landmarks like Banpo Bridge with its Moonlight Rainbow Fountain. The path is well-maintained and includes various rest areas, bike rental stations, and amenities for convenience. It caters to cyclists of all skill levels, with separate lanes for pedestrians, making it a popular spot for leisurely rides, exercise, and even commuting. Particularly, since it was autumn, I was also able to enjoy the fall scenery and autumn foliage with the various colour shades of yellow, autumn and red. This is a route highly popular with both locals and tourists and certainly very much recommended.

#Picnic Hangang Park is great for driving during the day or night, and it's also great for picnicking. There's Sebitseom Island and Dungdungseom Island. It's also great for photosynthesising by laying down a mat on the Hangang River. Seorae Island right next to Hangang Park has a rapeseed flower festival in the spring, so it's also great for going to Jincha Flower Festival. If you're only going to Seorae Island, it's better to go to Banpo 2nd Parking Lot and take pictures. Especially, if you go to Seorae Island at sunset, it'll be great for taking pretty pictures and taking Yunseul with you! It's so great to go out with a one-touch tent and have some Hangang ramen and chicken and beer while enjoying some water. It's so hot when the sun is hot, so everyone should definitely go around and around. It is recommended to prepare a small bag of shrimp crackers or dried fish, put them in your hand or throw them into the sea, and the seagulls will catch them quickly, which is very interesting! #seoul This is an attractive park along the edge of the river in Seoul. Super nice place to just chill out and walk around a bit. You get a superb view of the town. You still see sky scrapers in the distance and occasional reminders that you are still in a big city. Even so, it is a peaceful place to relax and see friendly local people. There are many things to do, and you can take short routes or long routes for walking. Locals gather here, order takeout and set up tents and picnics for the evening. We had a picnic here and it was a hreat experience as i feel like I'm shooting a kdrama scene. I'm living my kdrama dreams. I just felt something in my heart that i cant even describe it. If you don't have a picnic mat, fret not because there will be people selling. Likewise, there will be a lot of pushcarts on that day, so you don't have to worry about food while enjoying the view. There are bikes for rental and this may be a better idea if you wish to finish the whole path. This is a great place to meditate and think about life. A beautiful river for everyone to come and congregate during different seasons. I went to Seoul in September and the weather was great. Many locals are out having picnics and gathering at the park. They are here in the morning to get a good spot and stay until dark. Everyone will bring their picnic tables and chairs and even setup tents too. If you are visiting and do not have any picnic equipment, you do not have to worry. There are vendors selling them too. Chaeguro owns all 4 floors of the building, so you can enjoy different atmospheres on each floor. There is a quiet area for studying, and a conversation area for chatting.
