I have always had a soft spot for staycations that have loft rooms, jacuzzi, bathtub, rain shower, balcony and most importantly.. Your own kitchen area! I was super pleased to be able to book a 3D2N stay at Heritage Collection as I have noticed it is quite hard to make a booking with them (my guess it's because they do stays for longer term guests) hence the availability they have has never matched mine. The stay here felt very homely, and the staff were really friendly and responsive even though it is not the kind of front desk receptionist area you would expect from a normal hotel. As you can see, I went shopping at Don Don Donki just so I can cook my favourite gyūtan and A4 Kagoshima Wagyu beef!! I even purchased 2 slabs of sashimi (Sugi and Buri) just so I can slice and plate them myself. I also bought the oden set with a pack of my favourite silken tofu to cook soup, and wagyu patties sandwiched between cheese with garlic butter to assemble a burger from scratch (that I did not photograph of sadly as it smelled so good I ate it instantly).
