The new HQ building on Des Vœux Road Central Hong Kong, was built in 1978, an engineering masterpiece, and set as benchmark for office building everywhere. fattybase Makeshift Mac and Cheese Garofalo Fusilli Ingredients: Pasta, flour, full cream milk, cheese, garlic, onion, bacon, butter, olive oil, salt, pepper, water We were craving some Mac and Cheese, and a few seconds of Google search gave us a very simple recipe using only few ingredients. We ended up doing a few modifications to the recipe, and it's far from being an authentic Mac and Cheese, but it tasted good for us and we enjoyed it a lot! Here's how we made it: 1. Cook the pasta in boiled water with some salt and oil, for the duration listed in the packaging minus 1-2 minutes. Then drain the pasta 2. Add butter, garlic, onion, and bacon to a pan, and cook it until they're all nicely cooked. (the original recipe doesn't use garlic and onion) (we think it's going to be better if you fry the bacon separately to make it crispy) 3. Add some more butter, flour, salt, and pepper. Stir it properly and cook it for around 5 mins 4. Add milk slowly while constantly stirring the pan and cook it for another 5 minutes. Add some shredded cheese to the pan, then cook it again for several minutes while stirring the sauce 5. Add the pasta to the sauce, then stir it until the pasta is evenly coated. Plate it with some more cheese as garnish and some rosemary. Enjoy! Psshh, we added some garlic powder and some beef Royco broth powder. Hong Kong is famous for its skyline and most of its iconic skyscrapers are centred around Admiralty - and one of the best places to appreciate them is Hong Kong Park. This green oasis stretches from admiralty station to the base of the peak tram and offered a substantial area of green space in the financial hub - something quite rare in a city with such expensive real estate. On the outskirts of the Park you have an old fire station, countless sky scrappers and great spots to take photos of the bustling tram routes. In the park there are koi ponds, an aviary, lots of weather features and statues - a long with a wedding venue which is pretty random but cute. To get from Shenzhen to Hong Kong, take a high-speed train from Shenzhen’s Futian station to Hong Kong’s Kowloon West station. The train ride is only 15 minutes. I used Alipay to purchase my tickets, and it cost 68 CNY per ride (74 HKD or 13 SGD). I arrived in Hong Kong around 9+ AM in the morning and left Hong Kong around 9+ PM at night. (You can leave later as well since cabs in Shenzhen are not expensive, although the public transport closes early) Upon arriving at Kowloon West station, simply find your way to Austin MTR. The signs are very clear. The MTR was hassle free, and you can just tap your debit/credit card to get in and out.
