A candlelight performance at St Damiano Friary, Seoul
#performances #100waysoftravel
Candlelight Performance is back and with much more performances due to its oveewhelming response. There are so many themes and medleys to be chosen from like Joe Hisashi's themes, Chopin's pieces, Vivaldi Four Season etc. This time, we have chosen the Joe Hisashi's performance at San Damiano Friary located at Jeongdong gil. The concert ia being held at the chapel with hundreds of candles lited up, no LED or any other lights present. This gave us a feeling of enjoying only the music in the dark, and this is very intriguing. The pieces are also well played by the band, and we really enjoyed it a lot.

The glittering autumn foliage at Jeongdong-gil
Situated adjacent to Deoksugung, Jeongdong-gil boasts itself for its glittering gingko tree lining up along the street, making the place so nice and romantic. In my opinion this street is one of the nicest as it does not attract too many tourists, while still maintaining its calm and serendipity. There are many nice cafes along the street where you can sip coffee and enjoy coffee together at the same time. The best time to visit is early November when peak foliage is happening, and I will do it every year.
