Drive 1 hour from Leshan to see exquisite Ming Dynasty stone carvings in Jiajiang.
Jinxiang Temple in Jiajiang faces the Qingyi River and is backed by a large stone plate. The vicissitudes of life open your eyes, and good deeds in the world fill your heart.

Located at the foot of Qianfo Mountain in Group 6, Qianfo Village, Yancheng Town, Jiajiang County, Leshan City, Sichuan Province. Most people will go directly to the Qianfoyan Scenic Area, and the navigation will also guide you there. However, if you drive past the scenic area parking lot and continue along the mountain road, you will reach Jinxiang Temple.
👍️Must-see:
1. Thousand-Handed and Thousand-Eyed Guanyin, Picture 1, the statue has 12 heads and more than 200 hands, with a relief of a Buddha on top of the head, which is very grand. Although there are traces of repairs, you can still see the magnificence of the past. Guanyin wears a crown and a necklace, which is dazzling and worth seeing.
2. The Three Buddhas Niche is also worth seeing, Pictures 4, 6, etc. The three Buddhas (Bhaisajyaguru, Shakyamuni, and Amitabha) sit cross-legged on a Sumeru seat decorated with plump lotus petals, with Manjusri riding a lion and Samantabhadra riding an elephant on the left and right sides. The carvings are exquisite, and the shapes are very beautiful.
💗Other tips:
1. There is a guard dog in the temple, which barks fiercely but does not attack, only follows.
2. The sunlight at the archway at the entrance of the temple in the afternoon is very good, and it looks good in photos.
3. The temple is on a hillside, and there are one or two stone carvings at the entrance at the foot of the mountain. Don't miss them, Pictures 7, 8, and 9.
