Photography is strictly prohibited inside the Buddha statue, as it offers a truly unique experience. The first floor houses a Buddhist artifact shop, and the second floor houses the columbarium. I even stumbled upon the tablet of Anita Mui, the diva, there—it gave me goosebumps! The third floor houses relics, which, if you're as inexperienced as me, you might miss. While climbing up allows for a close-up experience of its majesty, honestly, for full-body photos of the Buddha, you'll want to take them from below. If you're just looking for a quick check-in, there's really no need to tire yourself out. However, if you're in a good mood, I recommend going up for a look—the view from up there is truly breathtaking! One last note: there are no chairs near the Buddha statue! Want to rest? No way! If you're bringing elderly people, be sure to assess their physical fitness to avoid a trip that becomes a physical or mental slog. In short, the Tian Tan Buddha is a must-see attraction on Lantau Island. Climb it and experience a spiritual and physical awakening; even without climbing, you can easily snap stunning photos. #TravelHongKong Mui Kee Congee, a famous restaurant in Mongkok, is famous for its Hong Kong-style congee. Their signature dishes are fish belly congee and offal congee. We ordered the offal congee, which was incredibly smooth and delicate. The congee was simmered to a rich, rich flavor, with a subtle burnt aroma from the unique clay pot. The offal was perfectly cooked, odorless, and the pieces were large and incredibly delicious. This restaurant always has a queue. You have to queue to place your order with the staff, then choose a table. Even though there's always a queue, the queue doesn't last long. The restaurant is on the 3rd floor, just take the escalator up to the entrance. Getting there: Take the MTR to Mongkok Station, Exit B3, then head to Fa Yuen Street Market. ✨

The spaciousness of the room is a delightful surprise in space-constrained Hong Kong. It accommodates a luxurious marble bathroom, a separate bathtub, and even a dedicated Nespresso coffee machine. The decor combines modernity with a touch of oriental Zen, complemented by impeccable lighting design, making the space not just a place to rest but a haven for complete relaxation. Speaking of service, from the moment you step into the lobby, you feel a warm and seamless flow of hospitality. During check-in, the staff's friendly smiles warm your heart. They're divided into zones, but there's no balcony; only windows to let in the breeze. Everything else is fine, except the rooms aren't soundproof. How to get there: Take the MTR to Jordan Station, Exit D, which is about 500 meters from the hotel. It's a 5-minute walk.

There's also a seating area for customers who purchase food.

It's a popular destination for photographers and tourists who appreciate unique city views. This complex is a series of steep residential buildings, creating a central space that resembles a scene from the sci-fi film Transformers: Age of Extinction (2014), inspired by the Monster Building. 📍The highlight is the low-angle shot, looking up at the buildings, rooms, and balconies. We recommend shooting from the bottom up or using a wide-angle lens for a better shot. Besides the Monster Building, this area also offers some cool photo opportunities. The billboards at the crosswalk are also stylish, and there's even a tram passing by. ⚠️ Caution: Residents live here, so please respect privacy. Avoid taking photos of other people, avoid using drones, and keep your voice down. (I suspect residents might be experiencing some inconvenience, as there are signs prohibiting photography.) Another point is that the entrance to the flats is quite old and a bit scary.
