Phanom Binza National Park covers an area of 50 square kilometers and is about 20 kilometers from Krabi town. A large virgin rainforest is preserved on the Phanom Bencha ridge at an altitude of 1350 meters, spanning 3 areas including Phanom Mountain, the urban area and the concave road. Strange Forest Landscape This park is a typical forest area, with streams, waterfalls and rich flora and fauna forming a peculiar landscape. Most of the parks are dense forests and steep slopes. The more famous sightseeing spots are Bee Cave (ThamKaoPueng), Satay Waterfall (NamTokHuaySaday), and empty waterfall (NamTokKlongHang). Heading deep into the park, at ThamPheung, it's a marvellously harsh winter with lots of shimmering mineral stalactites and stalagmites. A paradise for wild animals This is also a paradise for wild animals. Not only clouded leopards, black panthers, Asian black bears, gibbons and other animals thrive here, but also various tropical birds such as helmeted hornbills and hundred-eyed pheasants. You can even catch a glimpse of the nearly extinct Thai eight-colored thrush.
