Chasing Autumn Around the World | Art Appreciation at Le Méridien Minhang Shanghai
| Art Appreciation at Le Méridien Minhang, Shanghai. [Opening]: The hotel perfectly blends Shanghai's classical charm with modern elements. It has more than 200 comfortable guest rooms and suites, creating a comfortable and private accommodation experience.
🏨【Hotel Address】: No. 3199, Caobao Road, Minhang District, Shanghai
🌆【Decoration style】: The overall design is low-key and elegant, which makes people shine and gives people a style feeling different from that of W Hotel~
🛏【Room type/layout】: This time we experienced the Powerlong Le Méridien Executive Suite. Next to the entrance corridor is the living room bathroom, and the main and guest bathroom toilets are both Toto smart toilets. Large bottles of bathroom supplies are mounted on the wall, Amy’s usual Marlin Dog brand. The cloakroom is connected to the bedroom and the washbasin at both ends, and there is also a dressing table inside. The jacuzzi is in the middle of the bathroom space. The minibar has an illy capsule coffee machine. The view from the guest room is Powerlong City and Powerlong Art Museum.
⛺【Entertainment Activities】: Baolong Le Méridien Gym and Swimming Pool are on B1. The gym is not big, but the facilities are quite complete. Since the swimming pool is open to the public and has children's swimming classes, it is usually crowded with children on weekends and during the summer vacation.
The Powerlong Art Museum in the hotel is very artistic and can be said to be one of the must-check-in spots for children~
🍩【Restaurant Features】: The Powerlong Le Méridien Executive Lounge is on the 12th floor. The afternoon tea is relatively simple, with four desserts. I asked for a bottle of Perrier water. The happy hour menu in the evening is quite rich. Hot dishes include pan-fried longli fish, black pepper braised beef, fried rice, fried noodles, and Buddha Jumps Over the Wall soup. The salads are quite complete, including Caesar salad, pasta salad, various fruit salads, veal burgers, durian pastry (very delicious), and sesame balls. There are rice rolls, shrimp dumplings and lotus paste dumplings in the steaming rack. In addition, there are various Western desserts and breads. The food tasted very good. The waiters in the lounge closed the dishes very quickly. Since there were not many people, I don’t know how quickly the dishes were replenished.
The next day, we had breakfast in the buffet restaurant on the first floor. The first stall after entering the door was the old Shanghai style breakfast. The most authentic and delicious were the pan-fried pot stickers. There were also tofu pudding, pancakes, white fungus, red date soup, and red bean soup. Basically, they were all Shanghai local street snacks and home-cooked sweet soups. The egg stall master also makes Benedict eggs. The rest is pretty standard, with good quality fruits, such as 80mm Red Fuji apples, freshly squeezed juice, watermelon juice, melon juice and cucumber juice. Salads and Western-style baked goods are standard. Overall, the breakfast is rich in variety and has Shanghai local characteristics.
🏬【Nearby attractions】: Next to Powerlong Aimee is the food court of the owner Powerlong City with many delicious restaurants. It is also close to Shanghai's famous Korean Food Street, the National Convention and Exhibition Center and the Hongqiao Airport High-speed Railway Station. It can be said that the geographical location is quite convenient, and there are many entertainment and dining facilities around it. While waiting for the room, I went to the art museum to see the 400-year exhibition of Western figure painting.
💴【Per capita consumption】: This hotel is a mid- to high-end hotel, so the price is around several thousand yuan all year round. However, there seem to be many discounts for booking through Ctrip. It is recommended that you book in advance~
🧡【tips】:The weather in Shanghai has turned cold recently, so please remember to bring a jacket when traveling~
