[2025 London Stay] Travel Guide for Leman Locke (Updated Apr)

I stayed at Leman Locke for 4 days and had a great experience. The room was spacious and included a small living room, which made it feel like a home away from home. The washing machine was a fantastic addition, and the kitchen facilities, including an induction stove and oven, allowed me to cook whenever I wanted. The customer service was excellent—they even provided a complimentary bottle of red wine and snacks, which was a thoughtful touch due to my honeymoon. There’s a café on the ground floor and a gym in the basement, making it convenient to grab coffee or work out. They also offer free yoga sessions on Sundays, but you need to register in advance. The location is another highlight. A Tesco Express is nearby, and if you’re a fan of Korean food and bubble tea, there are authentic options just down the road. Aldgate East tube station is only a 5 to 8-minute walk to the hotel. It may not be near central London but it is quiet and also near a tube station. This apartment-style hotel is my all time favourite hotel in London! Though it may be alittle pricey, but it’s so worth it. The hotel opened in 2016, located in East London - Aldgate has 168 rooms (studio apartments, one bedroom apartments, Locke suites) and 2 sky meeting rooms. There is also a cafe-lounge and gym in the hotel. And as mentioned, it’s a studio apartment. Thus, most rooms are fitted with Smeg kitchenware and washing machine/dryer, smart TV etc. The staffs are friendly and it’s walking distance to the underground tube. #tripblazers #london #europe #hotel #darwintravel #lemanlocke
