entrance 6€ go there by bus 29 (one way fare 1,95€) nice few over Funchal, garden it self is not really well looked after. also there are no explanation sign. so we were slightly disappointed therefore not an must seen place on Madeira. go rather in to the „real“ nature on the different hiking tours

#celebratewithtrip The departure station is at Almirante Reis park at the lower end of the old town in Avenida do Mars e das Charming Studios Teleferico, and is around 400 meters 5 minutes walk from Mercado Dos Lavradores. It is open daily from 0900-1745. The destination station is called Monte, situated near Monte Palace Tropical gardens. The inclined course which takes 15 to 25 minutes, is approximately 3200 meters long. Igreja de Nossa Senhora do Monte is the main church in the parish of Monte. You can walk peoples taking toboggan ride from the top. This is the best way to see Maderia's natural beauty as well as its geography and orography during this cable car trip.

The museum and the hotel share the same building and are located in Avenida Sa Carnerio N°27, 9004-518 Funchal, the birthplace of Ronaldo. It is open from Monday to Friday 1000-1700. The exhibition includes photographs and videos emblematic of the athletic's career and wax works of Ronaldo with pictorial backgrounds with which visitors can take photographs. The museum has all the youth and professional trophies won by Ronaldo at the club, like Sporting CP, Manchester United, Real Madrid, Juventus and the Portugal National Team. In front of the museum, there is a bronze statue of Cristiano Ronaldo, made by the Madeiran sculptor. So visitors can take photos anytime of the day.

Tourist spot: Funchal area, Madeira Island @ Portugal Meals & Restaurants: Beach bar available Price: 12.8€/2 people (entrance fee + parasol + 2 beach beds) It's small, but it's a beach with a shallow seawater pool and poolside of several blocks surrounded by rocks. There is a floating island connected to the rocks, and you can jump directly into the sea. There are doctor fish on the rock blocks, so it's fun to splash your feet in them, and even if you jump into the sea, there are lifeguards on duty, so you can feel safe. Madeira is a volcanic island, so there are many rocky beaches, and sandals can be dangerous, but these facilities are good because the footing is flat but you can enjoy the view of the sea itself. The gateway to Paradise

Madeira is a beautiful island to visit. you can do tours, hire a car or get buses around, this place valley of nuns was accessible by public bus for less than 2 euros each way from Funchal! recommend visiting!

Visiting the Museum was fun and interesting to explore. You can see all his trophies and medals. You can take photos inside and especially with the 2 Ronaldo figures. It’s a small museum but fun for the fans. It wasn’t too busy when visiting. Outside is another metal statue of Ronaldo where lot’s of people are taking photos.

Going to the botanical garden is a must. You can spend a few hours there exploring the tropical plants and relaxing in some of the restaurants. It has a great atmosphere and it’s beautiful everywhere you go. I recommend this place for sure.
