You don’t really understand just how unique and interesting this place is while walking around and observing from the ground level, you only see some restaurants, some bars, some hotels, a couple bridges, but nothing out of the ordinary. however when you take a look from the aerial perspective, it’s a whole new ball game. You clearly see that this area is made up of a combination of small islands that are arranged sort of in a straight line. These islands are then connected by some beautiful bridges which have the typical Chinese design. you can also find that on the islands there are still some cool ponds and zigzag bridges which are my absolute favorite. #scenicspotguide #travelinspiration #momentsmission #urbanexplorer #suzhou #mapletrees

For all those who are interested, this area is called ligongdi. and it is located at the south part of the jinji lake. and is in the Suzhou industrial park. this area is not so far from the Suzhou center mall and the gate of orient and it’s a wonderful location. I went to this location for the purpose of doing some street photography. and this place proved to be the right spot for that. whether it was the vibrant energy and the interesting looking people, or it was the structures that you could find around it it was such an amazing experience. the buildings have a unique blend of the ancient and modern China which works amazingly. #momentsmission #mapletrees #luxuryhotel #scenicspotguide #travelinspiration #urbanexplorer #nyedestinations

Still remember this day from last summer. When the weather is really hot all you need to do is to go to a nice swimming pool to cool down if there are no beaches near your area, this area is called the ligongdi area in sip Suzhou. the actual hotel is called the Suzhou Anxie hotel. this place has a really nice restaurant and an amazing outdoor pool with outdoor space for a nice barbecue. The outdoor area is also amazing as you are overlooking the jinji lake! the area around this place is also a very luxurious and exotic to really put you into retreat mode!
