That and it being free to enter did mean substatial crowds. But don't let it being free make you think it's any less. It's huge and has your classic cathedral design with charming stained glass. Which reminds me that if you visit during the noon, you get to see these stained glasses at work as light passes through them. But noon would most likely involve a queue to get in. The ceiling is impressive as well. The courtyard is nice too and it provides shade. Good spot to relax for a while.
