This time, we chose a special guesthouse to try out—'Dali Old Town • Xiangyu Manwu.' This guesthouse features a distinctive rustic style combined with modern furniture and spacious living areas, making it incredibly comfortable. On the third floor, there’s a large terrace where you can enjoy views of the old town streets. We booked the largest room type, the 'Man • Luxury Mountain View Terrace Family Suite,' which boasts a massive 100-square-meter space with separate living and sleeping areas. The long sofa is both large and cozy. The rate for two adults and two children, including breakfast, was NT$5,000 per night. The overall environment was excellent. The guesthouse is conveniently located, very close to the bustling Erhai Gate, yet tucked away in a quiet alley. The owner contacts you a day in advance and can arrange for luggage pickup at Yihetang. The entire check-in process was smooth, and the service was warm and friendly, full of personal touches.

It is close to Erhai Gate of Dali Ancient City. It is really a quiet place in a bustling city. You can stand on the top floor and overlook Cangshan Mountain and feel the dry breeze of Dali. It is easy to get a taxi and it is very convenient to go anywhere for fun. ☆The garden is clean and tidy As soon as I entered the door, I saw a small yard full of lovely succulents, a flowering pomegranate tree and gorgeous bougainvillea. The room was also very clean and equipped with a disposable toilet seat. When I went there, the sun was shining in through the French windows. It feels so good ☆The bosses are a very enthusiastic couple We drove there by ourselves. They went to the parking lot of the ancient city to help carry our luggage and prepared a homemade travel map for us. Breakfast was free, and the porridge and side dishes were delicious. It was wonderful to drink some wine and watch the stars at night.
