Meijiawu is located on both sides of Meiling Road in the western interior of West Lake Scenic Spot and is one of the main production areas of Longjing Tea. Surrounded by green hills, the village is full of tea trees that give off an extremely refreshing fragrance. It’s great to take a walk here and breathe in the fresh air. Nowadays, almost every villager in Meijiawu makes a living from growing and selling tea. There are tea houses and rural tourism in the village. You can taste pure Longjing tea and eat local farmer's dishes on weekends. If you are interested, you are also welcome to play a few rounds of mahjong.
