It's ok to parade in this travel agency, the director is pretty good, but please don't buy the deluxe package if you want to eat better because you might be paying for some strangers. At first, we wanted to buy it only if we wanted to eat better. This kind of tour is group-based so we have to share a table with others. We were served three big Indians, and they didn't eat a plate of stir-fried water spinach, a plate of lettuce, a plate of rice noodles, a plate of fried bread, and only a few pieces of dry fried chicken for the three of them to finish (I gave one piece to my husband first). After the three of us ate a fried Wu Gu fish at the same time, there was only fish belly at the back door The fish head was left for us to eat. There was only water spinach and a few plates of taro slices in the hot and sour soup. There were two pieces of fish in the pot, and the two of them scooped them out at once and didn't eat anything else in the pot. The fruit plate was five small slices of watermelon, very small pieces that even a child could finish in one bite. There were five slices in total for five people, but three of them ate four slices before asking you in English: Do you want some? I want to eat it The hotel address was right at the place where they picked up tourists, but they insisted that we walk to their work place to get on the bus, and then the car drove back to the old street intersection and stopped for 20 minutes to wait for the guests to get on the bus (stupid) I saw a female employee with a smelly face early in the morning (2023-08-28) This tour is OK but the meals are not recommended. After you have eaten your breakfast, you can buy Vietnamese French bread or other food to take with you. You can eat lunch if you are not full. #passionpassport We went by bike to see Mekong Delta and it took 3 hours to reach there from Ho Chi Minh city. Then we took one tour on spot and they took out to various places. We spent a day cruising the Delta on small paddle boats in the canals and larger motorised wooden boats between the Islands. The river is so fertile that although rural it is densely populated. People live, trade, go to school and travel along the riverbanks. If you are in Vietnam, you must see the utmost famous river that runs through 6 different countries. In Vietnam it is the Mekong River and it is wide enough to think that it is the sea. As you get to Mekong Delta you can get a ferry to the other small island that has bee and coconit factory. You get to go on small kayaking boats that goes through the beautiful Mangrove trees. IT SEEMS LIKE YOU ARE LOST IN A JUNGLE FOR A SECOND. Other than enjoying the boat and rowing boats you can also visit the nearby snake zoo which has variety of other animals as well. The zoo has many local snakes from cobras to deadly snakes. The zoo is clean and spacious worth a visit if you have children. You can feed the animals and they sell vegetables and fruits to give. Then you can enjoy their local dish which is fried fresh water fish or lovely Bun Bo Hue which is a sweet rice noodle. This time i want to share about my experience when joining Mekong Delta 1 Day tour, Mekong Delta is located at Can Tho City in Vietnam. Overall the trip was good! we explore & visited many place in 1 day. We stop at Mekong Rest stop about 30 mins to shopping or just goin to toilet, after that we arrive at the pier and we will visit the first place: Thoi Son Island or also known as unicorn island. To reach this island we must took around 30 minute boat ride on the Mekong River from the pier, in this island the most famous activity is: we will sit on dinghies and its paddled by a local. After finished, we continue the trip to Cococut Candy shop, in this shops you can see how locals made the coconut candy (you can try the candy for free!) not to mention, there is snake wine here.. you also can try that for free! Imo, joining Mekong Delta tour is like a food tour 😂 i’ve got so many foods for free: Banana Crisps, Honey, Pandan Tea, Fruits, Coconut Candy, Snake Wine, Whole Coconut, and Fried Giant Fish.
