The "Victory" new hall of the Memorial Hall of the Victims of the Nanjing Massacre by Japanese Invaders was officially opened to the public in December 2015, aiming to show the heroic struggle and final victory of the Chinese people in the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression. The entrance of the new hall is located on the "Victory Road", and the exhibition hall is divided into two floors, underground and above ground. Among them, the underground part has the "Three Must-Win" theme exhibition hall, and the ground is a large green lawn for citizens to rest. The "Three Must-Win" theme exhibition hall is divided into three parts: "Justice Must Win", "Peace Must Win" and "People Must Win", which respectively show the heroic struggle of the Chinese people in the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, their desire for peace and their final victory. The exhibition hall vividly reproduces that period of history through a large number of historical pictures, cultural relics and multimedia displays, aiming to make the audience remember history and cherish peace. The exit design of the exhibition hall guides the audience to the green lawn area on the ground, symbolizing the move from the shadow of war to peace and hope. This design not only provides an emotional buffer space, but also implies the yearning and pursuit of a peaceful life in the future. The design and exhibition content of the entire "Victory" new museum aims to commemorate history, promote the concepts of justice and peace, and remind people to cherish the hard-won peaceful life.
