#outdooractivities I recently visited the Mycenaean Acropolis at Kanakia, and it was an incredible experience! Located on the island of Salamina, this ancient site offers a fascinating glimpse into Greece's rich history. The entrance fee was just €6, which felt like a steal for the amount of history and culture packed into this place. The views of the Aegean Sea from the acropolis were breathtaking, and wandering through the ruins, you can almost hear the whispers of the past. 🏛️ Nearby, I explored the charming village of Kanakia, which has quaint cafes and lovely seaside views. If you have time, the nearby Salamina Archaeological Museum is worth a visit to get more context about the artifacts found in the area. This time I'll be introducing Salamis Island in Greece! It took 45 minutes to get there by ferry, which runs from Piraeus Port in Athens every hour. The inside of the ferry had a somewhat exotic feel to it and was a lot of fun. We visited a local kebab shop near the port. It was the best kebab we had in Greece! However, most people spoke only Greek and hardly any English, so translation was a must! The cost was 3 euros one way! It's very cheap. Please go and check it out! #Greece #Athens #Spring0yentrip
