Travel to Nakhon Phanom, chill out, chill out for 3 days and 2 nights.
We will be visiting Nakhon Phanom for 3 days and 2 nights, so our life will be extended by another 2 years :) Plan a leisurely eating and traveling program, rent an AVIS car, pick up the car at the airport, go anywhere, eat anything, and tie it all together for you.
Day 1: Enjoy the breeze and view along the Mekong River, pay homage to Phraya Sri Satta Nakarat, walking street
Lunch @ Tor Tiew Tok restaurant, 7-11 Sri Thep branch, Nakhon Phanom Province. A cute restaurant, good location, convenient parking, selling waterfall noodles with both pork and beef, Nakhon Phanom style, served with grilled chili dip with shrimp paste, fresh vegetables, bean sprouts, basil, with chili sauce to season. The soup is sweet and delicious, the yellow noodles are soft and tasty, and there are pork rinds hanging on the wall, which is very stylish. How to eat: Take a bite of chili dip with shrimp paste and then scoop up some noodles to sip the soup. It is just the right amount of spicy in your mouth. Delicious and creamy Nakhon Phanom style that you must not miss. Open daily from 10:30 AM - 9:00 PM. Follow us on FB: To Tiew Tok, 7-11 Sri Thep branch, Nakhon Phanom Province. There is also a branch in Bangkok, Soi Lat Phrao 71.

Nakhon Phanom travel plan Day 1: Enjoy the breeze and view the Mekong River, pay homage to Phraya Sri Satta Nakarat, walking street
Lunch @ Tor Tiew Tok restaurant, 7-11 Sri Thep branch, Nakhon Phanom Province, a cute shop, good location, convenient parking, selling waterfall noodles There are both pork and beef, Nakhon Phanom style, served with grilled chili dip with shrimp paste, fresh vegetables, bean sprouts, basil, chili sauce to season, sweet and delicious soup, soft yellow noodles, delicious pork rinds hanging on the wall, stylish. To Tiew Tok Nakhon Phanom To Tiew Tok, Nakhon Phanom style, heavenly route along the Mekong River. When the sun is down and the wind has died down, we go for a walk along the Mekong River. You can park your car alongside the river near Sunthon Wichian School, then walk along the Mekong River on the concrete bridge, where there are both bicycle paths and walking paths/jogging paths. The view is outstanding, the wind is good, just like the name of the sign, Eat wind, see the view @ Nakhon Phanom. It's so good that I had to come back for 2 days. When walking around for a while You will see street art paintings along the walls at intervals. You can run up to take beautiful photos. The shops are also beautifully decorated. The only downside is that if it is Friday-Sunday evening, the shops will set up their products to sell on the walking street, which is a bit of an obstacle (it is recommended to come in the morning when the sun is not too hot or in the evening from Monday to Thursday). Continue walking towards the Naga statue. Pay homage to Phraya Sri Satta Nakarat, a large Naga statue on the Mekong River, a landmark of faith for the people of Nakhon Phanom. People have set up tables to offer offerings, flowers, bai si, flower trays, desserts, and fruits, beautifully arranged in trays. The bai si made from banana leaves is also beautifully arranged in the shape of a Naga (sold for hundreds to thousands of baht). People have brought hundreds of trays of fresh eggs to offer. You can go inside the building under the statue. It is lively.
Dinner at Sabai Dee Nakhon Phanom. On the way back, we went down to walk on the walking street, shop, taste, and see food products (Friday-Sunday evening, around 4:30 PM - 8:30 PM) until we reached the beginning of the alley to eat dinner at Sabai Dee Nakhon Phanom on the left, a famous restaurant that celebrities have visited. We ordered Vietnamese food, Nem Nuong, served with fresh vegetables, Vietnamese rice noodles, pork roll with tendon, very delicious. There are many other menus. See more at FB: Sabai Dee
Day 2: Worship Phra That Phanom and the Buddha image of your birth day for a wonderful life throughout the year
Wat Phra That Phanom After breakfast, drive a little far, about 50-60 km. from the city, to worship Phra That Phanom, the Buddha image of the province for those born in the year of the monkey and also the Buddha image of those born on Sunday. The Buddha image is as beautiful as its reputation. You can make merit, offer flowers, and give money according to your faith. The temple area is spacious. Outside, there are beautiful statues of the grandfather Naga and Thao Wessuwan. Many people come to worship and offer red garlands.
Wat That Mahachai, Luang Pu Kham Phan For this trip, we chose to worship Phra That Mahachai for those born on Wednesday during the day. The Buddha image is octagonal and has a unique identity. The temple is quite far away. There are not many restaurants to recommend, so we drove into the city to eat.
Day 3 Eat and travel in the Vietnamese way
Vietnamese clock tower The Vietnamese way of travel program starts at the Vietnamese clock tower, another check-in point that you must not miss.
Phra Thep restaurant, breakfast And Pak Mor Sri Thep restaurant, change from having breakfast at the hotel to try the famous food of Nakhon Phanom at 2 famous restaurants located next to each other. You can set the coordinates to the restaurant, Tor Tiew Tok.
Ho Chi Minh Memorial After you are full, let's go visit Uncle Ho Memorial. There is no entrance fee, but we invite you to make merit by putting money in the donation box. The place is large and built in Vietnamese style. The entrance starts from the central building, pay respect to the image of President Ho Chi Minh and historical pictures, then go see the house where he stayed. There are simple rooms, then walk around to see the garden, simulated cliff, and continue to the building that displays his wax figure.
Finally, there is a souvenir shop selling and accepting orders for Ao Dai, the national costume of Vietnam. There is also a service to rent Ao Dai, a complete set, to wear and take pictures with. It is very interesting. If you have time and have friends to wear it with, go for it. At least once in your life, you don't have to fly to Vietnam.
